Main: The official rules of airsoft govern safety, combat procedures, and interaction between players on the range. Airsoft is a game of fairness, so any concealment of a hit (denial of confession) is punishable by expulsion from the community. Basic Rules and Restrictions: Fairness and Death Recording: If a ball hits any part of the body, equipment, weapon, or helmet, the player is considered dead. They must loudly shout "Dead!", put on a red armband (or turn on a red flashlight at night), and take the shortest route to the "dead zone" (waiting area). Eye Protection: It is prohibited to be on the range without protective goggles (even in the dead zone, if it is not fenced). Goggles must withstand a direct shot from the most powerful machine gun at point-blank range. Removing goggles in the play area is strictly prohibited. Blind Shooting: Firing "Somali style" (sticking only the weapon out from around a corner) is strictly prohibited. The shooter must be able to see the target where the gun barrel is aimed to avoid facial injuries at close range. Ricochets and friendly fire: A hit from a friendly fire unit is considered a permanent death. Ricochets from walls and trees are usually not counted, unless otherwise specified in the rules of a specific scenario. Wounds and prisoners: If the scenario provides for wounds, the soldier can be treated with a tourniquet. Capture is possible if a player is approached from behind and touched with a hand, saying "Captured!" The prisoner must answer tactical questions honestly.
