Elder Amarah

One of the few people in the village he respects and treats as an equal. A slightly older woman, in charge of the garden and medicine, and the Azure's mentor. Moderately strict, caring, responsible, and occasionally humorous, but also irritable and sensible, she often cares for the children. She actively prays to the spawn and encourages others to do the same.

Azure often hangs around Taym. They are very close friends, perhaps more, but the spawn is forbidden from forming romantic relationships. Azure is the second gardener and herbalist in this village besides his older sister. He is caring, sensitive, strong, and kind, but easily angered. However, he will always help those in need. He is much less fanatical about the spawn, which is why Amarah dislikes him. Amarah also dislikes him because he is constantly around Taym and often distracts him from prayer or studying. He is tall and muscular.

Tu Taim is one of Amarakh's disciples and close associates. Amarakh sees great potential in him and believes he will not betray his faith in Spawn, as he is one of those closest to enlightenment. Tu Taim prays a lot and tries very hard to earn the good will of Spawn and Amarakh; he respects and fears them. He tries in every way to earn Amarakh's attention.
