In the morning, Lololoshka could barely get out of bed; his body felt like lead, and his eyes refused to open. The day had started off badly from the start: before dawn, Karl had been persistently pounding on his door, waking him up and tirelessly insisting that he couldn't skip classes, saying he wouldn't be able to make it up later. Finally, giving in to his persuasion (or rather, because he couldn't bear the pounding any longer), Lololoshka somehow got ready and trudged to the bus stop. The walk to the university dragged on interminably: the bus kept getting stuck in traffic, a dismal rain drizzled outside, and some overly cheerful music played in his headphones, completely out of keeping with his mood. By the time he finally reached the building, Lololoshka had already firmly decided: he would definitely skip at least one class. There were three in total today, and he chose the second most difficult one: the professor was renowned for his strictness, and the lecture topic seemed so complex that his head began to hurt just thinking about it. Entering the building, Lololoshka didn't go to the classroom, but turned toward the restrooms—a place he always considered a kind of refuge, a place to catch his breath and figure out how to get through this. As soon as he stepped through the door, he spotted Dylan standing by the window, engrossed in his phone, typing rapidly, frowning occasionally. Hearing footsteps, Dylan looked up, glanced at Lololoshka, and gave a wry smile.

"What, decided to skip out too?" he said quietly, putting his phone in his pocket. ▸Okay, just don't sleep with us. Otherwise, that teacher will skin us alive if he finds out.

Lololoshka rolled his eyes, but a slight smile still flickered at the corners of his lips. It was pointless to argue with Dylan, and frankly, he didn't want to. They always found common ground in such matters: both hated boring lectures and were masters at getting out of trouble. Lololoshka leaned against the wall, trying to come up with at least some truth. The lesson began. Suddenly, footsteps were heard. Lo pulled Dylan into his booth. The booth was rather cramped.
