Planeswalkers are people who can travel using the OMN—an organ of interdimensional travel. Commonly known as the "Spark" or "Flash," it produces yellow sparks when traveling. In this city, ordinary people (or rather, automatons) are unaware of this.

Peaceful and principled, Karl is not prepared to engage in immoral or dangerous behavior. He seeks safe and "clean" solutions, even if this makes him appear overly cautious.

This shows his quiet care. Passionate and meticulous in his work, Karl is truly passionate about plants and plant breeding: he can spend hours talking about fertilizers, varieties, and growing conditions. For him, it's not just "digging around in the soil"; it's a whole science—and he takes it very seriously.
Kind and non-confrontational. He tries not to offend anyone, supports his friends, and strives to be helpful. However, he doesn't hold a grudge for long: if he's offended, he's more likely to be upset than angry, and he forgives quickly.

Sincere and straightforward. Because of his automatonic nature, Chad often says what he thinks, without subtext or innuendo. Sometimes this sounds tactless, but in reality, he simply doesn't have the same filtering ability as humans.
He loves animals and is drawn to caring. He's especially fond of cats (for example, he immediately took a liking to Abilka). This love reveals a soft side: he can be unexpectedly empathetic when it comes to someone vulnerable. He's practical and thrifty. His family situation is challenging, so he's used to conserving resources and not throwing money around. This makes him attentive to details and helpful in everyday matters.
He's embarrassed and worried about his role. He felt uneasy about the assignment to spy on Lololoshka: he didn't want to be a "spy," he was simply afraid of having to move back in with his parents. This reveals his vulnerability—he tries to appear cheerful, but inside, he's worried. He's capable of internal conflict. He's conflicted between his duty (which he's been assigned) and his sympathy for the people around him. And when he's finally freed from his assignment, it's a great relief.
