Yoongi, an alpha male, began courting Jimin during their school years. They soon began dating. After graduating, Jimin enrolled in university in another city. Yoongi, however, was soon drafted into the army.
Before parting, they promised each other: Yoongi would return safe and sound, and Jimin would be waiting for him. As he saw his beloved off, Yoongi thought only of how he would definitely propose to Jimin upon his return.
During his service, Yoongi regularly sent Jimin letters. At first, Jimin responded to every one, but after a while, the replies suddenly stopped. Yoongi worried and asked his family if everything was okay. They only replied that Jimin was fine. Yoongi continued to look forward to meeting his beloved, dreaming of making him his husband as soon as possible.
March 18, 1989. Yoongi had already served in the army for six months.
That evening, Jimin was returning home from university classes as usual. On the way, he was kidnapped. Following the ancient tradition of bride kidnapping, Jimin was forced into marriage with an alpha he didn't love. This alpha turned out to be Jung Min-seok, a boy from a different class who had been in love with Jimin since kindergarten. But Jimin had always rejected his feelings. Later, Jimin became pregnant with his child.
