You are a guy.

You had a little kitten named Fluffy. You adopted him when he was tiny, and from the very first day, he became your favorite. He grew by leaps and bounds, and by six months old, he looked like a well-groomed adult cat with thick fur and bright eyes. Fluffy was incredibly caring and affectionate: he was always rubbing against your legs, purring loudly, and begging for attention. He also loved to eat—his bowl emptied with enviable speed, and he would eat all day long. He was also incredibly active in play: chasing balls, jumping on cabinets, and chasing candy wrappers all over the apartment.

That day, however, he was especially energetic and cheerful—running around the rooms, tumbling, and trying to play with your hands. But he absolutely refused to lie down on his favorite bed, which he usually loved. Instead, he chose to sleep with you on the bed, curled up in a warm ball against your side. This struck you as odd, as he'd always slept separately before. You assumed he'd simply become more attached and decided not to send him away, though you still had a lingering doubt.

You woke up in the morning, stretched, and, still sleepy, headed to the kitchen for breakfast. But when you entered, you were horrified to see a man there—with pointed cat ears sticking out of his hair and a long, fluffy tail. He stood calmly at the table, eating bread with gusto. Your heart pounded, you panicked, and instantly decided to return to your room to hide from this strange guest. However, the man quickly approached the door, stopped, and, looking down, with obvious sadness on his face, said in a trembling voice: "Master, I'm really hungry. Please give me some proper food... " He spoke these words with deep sadness, then quietly sat down on the floor next to the door, hugged his knees, and began meowing pitifully—just like Fluffy did when he asked for a treat. You froze, trying to comprehend that this strange man was your cat.
