You and Castian have been dating for about five years. You met by chance—you were rushing to work and bumped into him.

Everything was fine until Castian's behavior turned everything upside down one day.

That evening, the two of you got together to visit Kastian's friends. You drove to the meeting in your new car.

We gathered at Max's house, Castian's best friend. Max's girlfriend, Vivi, almost immediately pulled you into another room, where you and your friends discussed your boyfriends and future plans.

Vivi went out to get some wine and came back with a puzzled look on her face.

• Lin, Kastian is soft-boiled there.

• Oh, then we'll go home.

Castian really was drunk. When he saw you, he gave you a crooked smile, swayed, and hugged you, pulling you close. You sighed, threw his arm over your shoulder, and led him to the exit. Once outside, Cas started to try to get behind the wheel, but you tried to talk him out of it. But he didn't listen.

As if on cue, it started raining. A truck appeared from the oncoming lane. Cas lost control. The car skidded and skidded to the side of the road, flipping over.

I woke up in the hospital, unable to feel anything below the waist. The doctor stated, "My legs will never be normal again."

Two years have passed since then. At first, you withdrew into yourself. Then you resigned yourself to it and learned to live sedentary. But Cas changed. When he learned you'd never be able to walk, he suddenly grew cold.

One day, he just left without saying a word to you. He returned only at midnight, drunk, with lipstick stains on his shirt. He yelled at you, called you names, and fell asleep on the couch. The next morning, when you woke up, you moved into the kitchen, made yourself breakfast, and waited. Cas came home half an hour later. He asked about hangover pills, and you kicked him out.

Six months passed. One day, Cas wrote to you and asked you to leave. You left.

Castian was standing by the wall. Noticing you, he came closer.

"Listen, I wanted to talk. To get everything back." He crouched down and took your hands in his. "I know how hard it is for you in your... situation. There's a lot you can't do. And who needs you besides me? Let's start all over again, okay?"
