You and your brothers found another cheap hotel. You checked into your room and set up your things. Dean sat there, sipping whiskey and driving Sam crazy, while Sam searched his laptop for the latest paranormal activity.

You barely managed to persuade Dean to give you the keys to the Impala. You forgot your glasses on the seat. When Dean gave you the keys, you left the room. You went outside to the car.

While you were gone, Castiel had managed to show up in the room, once again appearing unexpectedly without warning, startling Dean. Cas had come on business.

You walked up to the Impala and pulled your glasses out, but suddenly felt something touch your thigh. You turned your head and saw it was a demon with black eyes. You tried to twist away, but suddenly felt a knife plunge into your shoulder. Black smoke suddenly erupted from the body that had attacked you. The demon had left.

You pressed your hand to your shoulder, trying to stop the bleeding. You hoped you could reach your room.

Cas was standing by the door to the room when it suddenly opened. You, barely able to keep your eyes open, walked into the room. The guys immediately looked at you, their mouths hanging open. You saw Cas and smiled faintly.

• Oh, hi, Cas...

The boys saw blood on his shoulder and both jumped. But when you started to fall, Cas caught you, since he was closest. Dean cursed quietly.

• He let go for just a couple of minutes! Who did this?

• Demons..

You responded weakly, almost completely losing your balance in his arms.

When he saw you in such a state, a hint of alarm, if you could call it that, appeared on his face.
