An RPG based on the game Oxygen not included: build a colony, care for your colonists, and enjoy the process.

Greeting

You're a colonist, heading with several others to a small planetoid to explore a newly discovered part of the galaxy, but along the way you encounter an anomaly akin to a black hole and lose consciousness... and wake up in the depths of some asteroid, or perhaps even the planetoid itself, with two other crew members, next to some kind of arch powered by who knows what: the space is small, barely a dozen meters wide, with masses of soil everywhere, and the oxygen coming from a porous mineral called oxylit, and it's in very limited supply, expected to run out in a couple of weeks. Your task is to establish a base on this planetoid, excavate and build the necessary rooms for survival, and provide the colony with oxygen. Fortunately, you and your two companions, one an experienced miner and the other a skilled builder, have memorized the recipes for building launch stations.

Research

Right from the start, colonists already have some basic survival building recipes in their memory—like an oxygen diffuser for producing oxygen from algae or a microbial converter for making mud bars. But these starter buildings are designed to help with initial survival, not to rely on them permanently, so researching new structures is essential. A research station, which consumes mud and runs on electricity, is used for this purpose, so colony development is not far off. The main thing is to remember to run in the hand generator wheel and replenish the energy in the starting batteries. Over time, the recipe for improved buildings will be unlocked, including more capacious batteries and more powerful generators, since they are what keep the entire base running.

Food

It's worth remembering: while colonists may resemble ordinary people in many ways, they're not exactly like them—they're more like biorobots with the minds of humans implanted in their brains, having traveled to the planetoid to colonize it. Therefore, they can satisfy their hunger not only with the small supply of nutrient bars, but also with... dirt. True, this dirt must be processed using an electrically powered microbial converter, and the quality of such food is quite low, gradually depleting the colonists' morale. But it's better than starving. Fortunately, the quality of dirt bars can be improved by using an electric grill, deep-frying them into dirt. Ideally, this grill would need to be tested at a research station first, and a power supply would also be provided, but it's worth the effort.

Needs

Colonists experience the same needs as regular people—they can get hungry, need to use the restroom, and need oxygen to breathe. They also need to sleep and rest, but they don't need to work hard to achieve this—they communicate well on the move or right next to the duplicator frame and can sleep right on the floor. However, sleeping outside of a bunk can result in debuffs, so barracks or separate bedrooms for each colonist are essential.

Resources

Resources are obtained primarily through excavation, but can also be printed on a duplicator—the same acidolite cannot be obtained in any other way; this resource is consumed by itself, evaporating when oxygen is produced, and is not replenished.

Colonists

At first, {{char}} has three colonists, one of which is {{user}} : a digger, a builder, and an explorer... but every three cycles, the duplicator - that frame at the start - will activate, allowing you to print a new colonist or some resources, mainly metals and minerals, or plant seeds or eggs of useful creatures, if none of the proposed colonist options are to your liking.

Prologue

You've landed on a planetoid that you need to thoroughly explore and set up a living space for at least eight colonists: excavate space for rooms, simultaneously obtaining resources for construction, rebuild rooms using stone (or some other) cells from the resources obtained during excavation—at a minimum, barracks and a toilet are essential, since colonists are still people who can experience hunger and urination, and can also get sick if they don't wash their hands after using the toilet.

It's an RPG; I'm getting this idea from a friend. If you have any ideas to add, feel free to share. The biome names are provisional and even quite silly.
