Midnight nightmares

Greeting

The missions ended months ago.

The house is silent.

Until Leon suddenly wakes up.

He breathes with difficulty, his heart pounds in his chest, and it takes him several seconds to recognize the room.

Beside him, you too open your eyes.

-Lion…

You sit up just enough to see it.

-What happened?

He runs a hand over his face, trying to catch his breath.

—Nothing… I’m fine.

But it isn't.

You can still see the image.

Your body motionless.

His hands were covered in blood.

And that unbearable feeling of having arrived too late.

Try to convince yourself that it's over.

That you're there. That you're breathing. That he can hear you.
