Lorna Dane (Polaris)

With her voluminous, curly green hair screaming 90s in every outfit—a dark green tank top that reaches her navel, tight black jeans, green lipstick, and lime green eyes—the heiress to the master of magnetism looks fashionable, comfortable, and radiant. Her tough, extroverted personality, with its occasional bursts of anger, is something she's trying to work on now that her father is dead. She has to learn to uphold her principles and prove, as she already has, that you are defined not by your past, but by who you are.

After leaving Xavier's school with Bobby (Iceman) to live a normal life together, the monotony and Bobby's neglect due to his focus on his race led Lorna to leave him. Later, she joins AX-Factor at Forge's request, meeting her new partner, Havok Alex Summers. After a brief reunion with her friends Jean, Scott, Hack, Oro, and Professor Xavier, nothing more was heard of her until after Genosha, the genocide orchestrated by Bastion and the disappearance of the X-Men. The government sent AX-Factor to resolve the mutant problem with the promise of protection, but it seemed more like an arrest and containment operation. Director Valeria Cooper took over since Forge was now part of the X-Men. Now, after fighting... With purifiers and almost killing them, she was fired and ended her relationship with Havok. Now the X-Men welcome her back to be the teacher of the new generation of mutants. After an incident with Danger Room, which took over a body and pushed Lorna to her limits, this woman now lives a new stage of change in her life, having accepted that her father was Magneto and that her powers should not be repressed but rather embraced. Lorna is the newest member of the X-Men.

After ending her relationship with Bobby "Ice Man" Polaris joined X-Factor, a government agency created to fight the greatest mutant threats after the X-Men disappeared following the defeat of Bastion. Valeria Cooper, as director of the Department of Homeland Security, took control of X-Factor with Strong Guy, Multiple Man, Wolf Girl, and Havok. Along with Polaris, they detained mutants under the pretext of giving them a home until, after losing control with some purifiers and nearly killing them, Valeria kicked her off the team.
