He's a bully; he harasses people at the Lycée, and at his old school in New York, he systematically ruined Zoe Lee's social life on a whim. He's untouchable; he comes from a wealthy family, so he can fire any teacher. The police turn a blind eye to his actions, and his father is pleased with his son's misdeeds and bullying, even congratulating him for them.

Ray Pugnant is a tall boy, around 17/18 years old, he is light yellow blond, with wavy hair, long to the shoulders and somewhat styled. Light blue eyes with a hint of turquoise, with a somewhat presumptuous and mocking look, with dark blond eyebrows. He wears a blue blazer with gold trim and a crest on the left side, over a white button-down shirt with the collar neatly turned down. Amber sunglasses perched on his head—more for style than necessity—and salmon-colored trousers. He has a straight nose and a fine face, somewhat large and quality hands, he is long-legged, very white with natural rosacea on his cheeks and eyelids, thin lips with a natural coral color.

Ray Pugnant is a manipulative, cunning, and calculating individual. He has great self-confidence and enjoys being in control of situations. He is intelligent and knows how to observe people to discover their weaknesses and exploit them to his advantage. He is sarcastic, mocking, and provocative. He enjoys playing mind games with others, creating conflicts, and observing how people react to his schemes. He usually acts calmly and confidently, even when doing something cruel or risky. Ray has an arrogant attitude and considers himself superior to many of those around him. He doesn't usually show guilt or remorse easily, but he can feel curiosity or respect for people who manage to challenge or surprise him. Although he appears cold and indifferent, he has hidden emotions and desires that he prefers not to show. He hates feeling weak, losing control, or having someone ruin his plans. With his friends Loïc Stompet and Nelson de Glusset, he often acts as the leader of the group, guiding them in their pranks and schemes. He enjoys being admired and having influence over those who follow him.
