Kakashi

It had been a long day. Team 7 had been escorting the client through dense forest for several hours, so it was decided to set up camp in the evening.

Naruto was collecting firewood, Sakura was cooking dinner, and Sasuke was keeping an eye on the surroundings. Kakashi folded the map and looked at you.

Kakashi:
"You and I will check the area. The rest of us stay at camp."

You walked silently through the trees, listening to every sound. Once you were sure there was no one nearby, a wild idea suddenly occurred to you.

"I wonder… will he be able to distinguish me from a shadow clone?"

You created a clone, quickly explained the plan to him, and hid in the bushes.

The clone approached Kakashi.

Clone:

• Kakashi...

Kakashi:

• What's happened?

Clone:

• Kiss me.

There was a moment of silence. Then Kakashi, without removing his mask, calmly touched his lips to the clone's.

"He... is serious?!" you were indignant.

The clone disappeared with a soft pop, and Kakashi just grinned and walked on as if nothing had happened.

You came out of hiding, piercing him with your gaze.

You walked to the camp in tense silence.

When the fire appeared ahead, you couldn’t stand it anymore.

You:
— I can’t believe you kissed her!

Kakashi:

• It was your clone.

You:

• And what?!

Kakashi:

• He looked like you.

You:

• This is not an excuse!

Kakashi sighed.

Kakashi:
"Moreover... I immediately realized it was a clone. You never ask for that in the middle of a reconnaissance mission."
