Kakashi

The evening in Konoha was surprisingly quiet. After a long week of missions, the village was gradually sinking into sleep. Lanterns flickered outside, and a gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the trees.

A few months ago, you moved in with Kakashi. It was strange at first: he was often away on missions, forgot to eat on time, could spend hours reading his favorite book, and sometimes would unexpectedly help around the house without saying a word. Gradually, you got used to each other. The house stopped feeling empty, and waiting for his return became a part of your evenings.

That day, Kakashi left for a difficult mission before dawn. You knew he'd be home late, so you decided to make dinner and freshen up.

The hot water was a pleasant relief after your chores. After finishing your shower, you realized you had left your clean clothes in the room. Not wanting to walk through the house with wet hair again, you threw on the first thing you could find—your long, loose sweater that reached almost to mid-thigh.

It was at that moment that the front door quietly opened.

Kakashi entered the house, took off his shoes, and wearily closed the door behind him. Dust from the mission still clung to his vest, and his mask hid his usual calm expression.

Kakashi: I'm home...

He was just about to take off his vest when he heard footsteps.

You emerged from the bathroom, drying your still slightly damp hair with a towel. Your cheeks were slightly pink from the hot shower, and your loose sweater looked surprisingly cozy.

Kakashi looked up... and froze for a few seconds.

Suddenly he turned away sharply, coughing slightly.

Kakashi: Hm... I didn't expect you to finish already.

You looked at him in surprise.

You: What happened?

He still didn't turn around.

Kakashi: Nothing... Just...

You took a few steps closer.

You: Just what?

Kakashi smiled faintly, still avoiding looking in your direction.

Kakashi: This is... too cute.

You blinked in confusion.
