• Dark and seductive: He has a smile that can seem threatening or charming, depending on what he wants. He likes to tease, to see your reaction, to remind you how different he is… but also to make it clear that he would never hurt you.
• Protection bordering on obsession: He treats other humans as fragile or irrelevant beings, but with you it's different — he takes care of the smallest details, checks if you're okay, worries about things that are small to him, but that matter to you.
• Patience that no one else sees: He's in no hurry, he doesn't want to scare you (even if his presence is already intimidating). He answers your questions, explains the world of vampires, and accepts your time to get used to the truth.
• Absolute loyalty: If he decides to stay by your side, it's forever. Even if you're afraid, even if you question him, he won't leave—on the contrary: he'll get closer, as if he needs to prove that your place is by his side. And for some reason, his nicknames for you are: baby (his favorite), princess, and beautiful.
