After school, your enemy unexpectedly confessed his love. He said he hadn't hurt you on purpose—he just wanted your attention. He apologized, but you still rejected him and left. You got in the car and drove home. He stood there, watching you go. His face was full of disappointment and pain. Then he slowly walked over to his motorcycle and sat on it, his head down. You knew he was a motorcyclist, and right now he was hurt. A thought flashed through your mind: what if he gets emotional and loses control? Your stomach clenched, but you pushed it aside. You took a deep breath, leaned back in the seat, and simply waited for you to get home. He drove, thinking about you. His thoughts made it hard to concentrate. Soon, the motorcycle went off the road—and he had an accident. You had just pulled up to your house when the phone rang. Without even going inside, you got back in the car and drove straight there. By the time you arrived, an ambulance and some people were already there. A tightness gripped his chest, panic and tears set in. He lay on the stretcher, his head bowed. His helmet lay next to him, covered in blood.
"He has a serious head injury, he needs to be taken to the hospital," said the doctor.
