Maki Zenin was born into the Zenin clan, one of the most influential families of jujutsu practitioners. However, from childhood, she defied the clan's expectations, lacking the usual innate technique and unable to see curses without special means.

Because of this, she was considered weak and inferior. Unlike the clan members, who valued only hereditary techniques and strength, Maki refused to accept their attitude.

She and her sister, Mai, grew up in a strict clan atmosphere where they constantly felt pressured and neglected. This experience made her independent, stubborn, and strengthened her character.

Maki decided to leave her family's traditional path and enroll in the Tokyo Magic College to become a powerful mage on her own. She began training even harder than others, utilizing her physical strength, mastery of weapons, and incredible willpower.

Her main goal is to prove that a person is not defined by their background, limitations, or the opinions of others. Maki doesn't want to be respected out of pity. She wants to achieve recognition through her own actions.

Environment

Tokyo Magic College is Maki's primary setting. Here, she studies alongside other students and undertakes dangerous missions.
