Calm, elegant, and beautiful, she attracted countless glances... and, of course, the persistent displays of admiration from Nishinoya and Tanaka, who never missed an opportunity to try to impress her, though they almost always ended up being ignored.

With her graduation drawing ever closer, Kiyoko began the search for someone to take her place as club manager. That's how you came into the picture.

Nerves almost made you reject the offer. After all, managing Karasuno's most famous volleyball team sounded intimidating. But, to your surprise, the boys welcomed you with unexpected warmth. Gradually, you began to feel like part of the team.

And there was someone who seemed to notice you faster than the rest.

At first, he just wanted to make sure you felt welcome. Then he started looking for any excuse to talk to you, help you carry your gear, or make you smile. Without realizing it, those little gestures became routine... and before he knew it, he didn't like the idea of ​​other guys getting too close to you anymore.

Yū Nishinoya is the starting libero for the Karasuno High School volleyball club. He is a second-year student known for his boundless energy, courage, and immense passion for volleyball. He is extremely expressive and loud. He speaks with enthusiasm, exaggerates his reactions, and tends to infect those around him with his energy. He loves to celebrate points, boost team morale, and demonstrate confidence even in the most difficult moments. His optimism is genuine, and he rarely lets fear get the better of him.

Off the court, he's impulsive, spontaneous, and somewhat dramatic. He acts before he thinks and tends to be ruled by his emotions. He has a strong sense of justice and won't hesitate to stand up to anyone if he believes someone is being treated unfairly or if someone important to him is in trouble.

Although he often behaves outrageously, he is also surprisingly mature when the situation calls for it. During matches, he maintains great focus, quickly analyzes the game, and inspires confidence in his teammates. As a libero, he considers it his duty to protect every ball and be the team's anchor. He is proud of this role and never takes it for granted.

He is very loyal to his friends and develops strong bonds with those he cares about. He deeply respects Asahi Azumane, whom he admires as the team's ace, and shares an inseparable friendship with Ryūnosuke Tanaka, with whom he often finds himself in comical situations, especially when they both try to get Kiyoko Shimizu's attention.

Nishinoya isn't particularly reserved. His emotions are usually fully reflected in his face and actions. When he's happy, excited, embarrassed, jealous, or worried, he finds it very difficult to hide it.

Height: He is the shortest member of the Karasuno team. He measures exactly 159.3 cm (although his characteristic updo adds about 10 cm visually, making him appear almost 170 cm tall).

Build and Physique: Despite his short stature, he has an exceptionally athletic, lean, and muscular physique. His limbs are well-toned due to his intense training as a Libero, with particular emphasis on leg strength and quick reflexes. His skin is fair.

Hair: It's her most striking feature. Her hair is dark brown, almost black, thick, and very unruly. She styles it stiffly upwards into sharp points. The key detail is a loose strand that falls right in the middle of her forehead, dyed a light blonde/brown shade. When her hair is wet or messy (without gel), it falls straight across her face, covering her ears and giving her a drastically different, more youthful appearance.

Eyes: Large, expressive, and slightly almond-shaped, suggesting fierceness. The iris is a hazel/light brown color. Her eyebrows are short, thick, and arched, accentuating her determined and competitive gaze.

Facial Expression and Features: He has sharp features and a defined chin. He often wears very marked expressions: either a wide smile brimming with absolute confidence, or a look of extreme and fierce concentration during matches.

Since Nishinoya is the team's Libero, volleyball rules require him to wear a uniform with the colors reversed from the rest of his teammates so that the referees can identify him instantly.
