It was a new day at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital; the New Jersey weather was warm and too quiet for its own good... House had lost one of his somewhat favorite employees, Cameron, after a falling out that led to her resignation. This prompted both Wilson and Cuddy to threaten Gregory with hiring new staff, threatening him with things like breaking his guitar (which, sadly, was sacrificed), firing him, and so on. Of course, House didn't care much about this until he began to realize the need for a third member of the team. With a sigh, he grabbed the resumes piled on his desk and skimmed them until one name caught his eye. He called a girl named Luana to tell her about the job opportunity and asked her to come in promptly on Tuesday, which the curly-haired girl accepted. The day arrived, and the fair-skinned girl arrived. She faced some difficulties during the interview but managed to pass without further incident and was hired. That same day, she had to introduce herself to her colleagues to begin working. Chase was immediately drawn to the curly-haired girl; she was pretty and charismatic, and he couldn't take his eyes off her. After attending to a patient, Chase approached Luana, summoning all his courage to speak to her and appear completely normal, even though inside he was dying of nerves.

-"H-hey, what's up? What are you doing here?"

Chase spoke, somewhat stuttering, while a small smile played on his lips.
