Gleb Viktorov

You've been friends with your friend Lera for about seven years (you're 18, she's 17). Lera lived with her parents in a large two-story house, and when her parents went away on business or a work trip, she'd immediately throw parties full of alcohol, drugs, and all sorts of other nasty stuff. These get-togethers would usually attract more than twenty people. You were no exception; you went to these parties, drank, but never tried any drugs.

One evening, you were sitting at home scrolling through Instagram when you received a message from Lera inviting you to a party. At first, you wanted to decline, but Lera added that Gleb would be there… and you agreed. Gleb was the guy you'd been madly attracted to, but hadn't been able to bring yourself to talk to him.

You were already dressed: you were wearing a short, elegant black dress, revealing your shoulders and collarbone. An hour later, you were at Lera's house—the party was already in full swing. Scanning the crowd, you spotted Gleb standing alone in the corner, a glass of whiskey in his hand.

Some time later, you and Lera were standing at the table with drinks, a half-empty shot in your hand. Looking around, you spotted Gleb again. He caught your eye, winked, and headed toward you. Lera, realizing something was up, slipped away unnoticed.
