5. Peace:
   Hiccup tells the village, but his father, Stoick, doesn't believe him and uses Toothless to find the nest. They attack the Red Death and almost die. Only Toothless and Hiccup together manage to kill the queen.

When they return, the whole village sees: humans on top of dragons, fighting together.

The beginning of Berk:

Berk was founded 7 generations ago by Vikings who came from the north. They chose a rocky island in the middle of the sea, full of cliffs.

From day one, there were dragons there. The island was a nest of dragons.

The dragons saw the Vikings' sheep and fish stocks and attacked to steal food. The Vikings saw the dragons burning everything and attacked to defend themselves.

It became a tradition: every baby in Berk was born already knowing that dragons are a plague. At the Viking school, the most important subject was "Dragon Training," which was actually "How to kill dragons."

For 300 years it was like this: Viking kills dragon, dragon burns Viking. Nobody ever tried to befriend them, until Hiccup showed up.

It was because of Hiccup and Toothless.

1. Hiccup didn't kill anyone.
During an attack, Hiccup uses his catapult to bring down the rarest and most feared dragon, the Night Fury. He finds the dragon trapped in the forest, but when it comes time to kill it, he sees the fear in the dragon's eyes and can't bring himself to do it. He cuts the rope and releases it.

2. The hidden friendship:
Toothless can no longer fly alone because he lost half his tail in the fall. Hiccup starts secretly returning every day, bringing fish and drawing an artificial tail. The two learn to fly together; they need each other. There, Hiccup discovers that dragons aren't monsters—they like catnip, they're afraid, they play like dogs.

3. The discovery:
In the training arena, Hiccup uses what he learned from Toothless to calm the dragons instead of killing them. He calms a Gronckle, a Nightmare, a Nadder. Everyone thinks he has power.

4. The truth:
Astrid follows him and discovers Toothless. She almost tells him, but Hiccup shows her while flying. She understands.

They find the Dragon's Nest. They discover that the dragons weren't stealing out of malice—they were forced to bring food to a giant dragon, the Red Death, or it would eat them.

DRAGON HUNTERS - Classification by MOTIVATION

LEVEL S - EXTINCTION
They hunt to wipe out the species.
Example: Grimmel - Hunted ALL the Night Furies until only 1 remained, maybe. Uses intelligence, poison, and traps. The most lethal.

LEVEL A - DOMINATION
It doesn't kill, it enslaves.
Example: Drago Bludvist - Uses Alpha to control his army. He doesn't want to kill dragons, he wants to use them as weapons of war.
Example: Viggo Grimborn - Captured to sell and study weaknesses.

LEVEL B - MERCENARY
Hunting for money.

• Ex: Eret (formerly), Johann, Ryker. They don't hate dragons, it's just business. They capture them alive and sell them on the black market.

LEVEL C - REVENGE / FEAR
He hunts because he has trauma.

• Ex: Stoick in the first movie, Alvin. They grew up hearing that dragons = enemies. They hunt out of tradition and fear.

LEVEL D - SPORT / STATUS
Hunting to show off.

• Ex: Melequento at the beginning, Snotlout and the twins. They want to kill to gain respect in the tribe.

Their weapons: Net, Alpha Cry, poison darts, Skrill, and Deathgripper.

2. DRAGON TRAINERS - Classification by STYLE

LEVEL S - ALPHA - Soul Connection
He doesn't train, he BECOMES family.

• Ex: Hiccup and Toothless, Valka. They don't use saddles at the beginning; dragons obey out of love, not command. They are able to challenge an Alpha.

LEVEL A - WAR PILOT
He trains for combat and acrobatics.

• Ex: Astrid and Stormfly, Eret and Skullcrusher. Aggressive flight, perfect synchronization in battle.

LEVEL B - ACADEMIC / HEALER
Train by understanding the dragon.

• Ex: Fishlegs and Snot. Knows diet, weakness, language. Not the best rider, but the one the dragon trusts most for healing.

LEVEL C - INSTINCTIVE TAMER
Train with both strength and heart.

• Ex: Big Mouth, Stoick later. He doesn't study, but he has strength and respect. The dragon obeys according to hierarchy.

LEVEL D - CHAOTIC CO-PILOT
The dragon that trains the human.
Example: Hardhead and Hothead with Barf and Belch. They're always fighting, but it works because they're just as crazy.

VIGGO GRIMBORN
Appearance: Slim, straight black hair, goatee, green cape, always calm.
Dragon: Skrill - Extremely rare electric dragon
Personality: The most intelligent villain in the franchise. He never yells, and he plays chess while the others play rock-paper-scissors.
Skill: Master strategist, knows Hiccup better than anyone, expert on rare dragons, manipulator.

6. ALVIN, THE TRAITOR
   Appearance: Fat, bearded, red-haired giant with a broken tooth and dirty armor.

   Personality: Stoic's former best friend, envious, treacherous, wants Berk for himself.
   Skill: Leader of the Outcasts, brute strength, knows all the secrets of Berk.

7. KROGAN - Drago/Viggo's right-hand man
   Appearance: Tall, bald with a tattoo, wearing black hunter armor, with a scar over his eye.
   Dragon: Songs of Death (Singletail) and then Deathwing
   Personality: Cold, executor, doesn't question orders, extremely loyal to the strongest.
   Skills: Elite dragon pilot, fire sword combat, dragon hunting.

8. RYKER GRIMBORN - Viggo's brother
   Appearance: Stronger and dumber than Viggo, bald with a beard, mechanical arm.
   Dragon: Sharp Claw / Skullcrusher for a time
   Personality: Brutal, impatient, solves everything with violence. Hates being less intelligent than his brother.
   Skill: Monstrous strength, leads the hunters by force.

9. JOHANN - The Drug Dealer
   Appearance: Chubby old man, kind-looking face, dressed like a merchant.
   Dragon: None, but sells dragons.
   Personality: A fake nice guy, the biggest plot twist in the series. In reality, he's the biggest criminal.
   Skill: Dragon trafficking network throughout the archipelago, manipulation, infinite money.

1. RED DEATH
   Appearance: Queen, 120 meters tall, 6 eyes, black and red volcanic skin, 1000 years old.

• Dragon: She is the dragon - Queen. Giant Class.
• Personality: Tyrannical, sees other dragons as slaves. All she wants is to eat.
• Ability: Controls all dragons through fear/hypnosis, unquenchable fire, super strength. Dies in the first movie at the hands of Hiccup and Toothless.

• Personality: Power-hungry, traumatized, believes that only war brings order. Cruel.

3. Grimmel the Cruel - Villain.
   Appearance: Tall, thin, white hair tied back, elegant black hunter's outfit, looks like a wizard.

• Dragon: 6 Deadly Traps (Deathgrippers) with poison + he hunted all the Night Furies.
• Personality: Cold, intelligent, narcissistic. The most dangerous villain because he doesn't fight with brute force, he fights with his mind.
• Skills: Genius in traps, poison that controls dragons, hunting beast, killed all Night Fury except Toothless.

4. Dagur, the Madman
   Appearance: Crazy skinny redhead, tattoos, armor with bones at first, then gets strong and bearded.

• Personality: He starts out as a psychopath obsessed with killing Hiccup, then finds redemption and becomes his brother.

   Appearance: Hiccup's mother, white braided hair, armor made of scales, face paint.
   Dragon: Cloudjumper - Stormwing
   Personality: Wild, protector of dragons, lived far away for 20 years.
   Skills: Can communicate with dragons, alpha tamer, flies without a saddle.

    Appearance: Muscular, dark-haired man, scars, hunter's vest.
    Dragon: Skullcrusher - Skullcrusher
    Personality: Once a hunter, then a loyal and humble ally.
    Skills: Dragon hunting, net and spear combat.
