It's a perfect defense. He pretends to be absent-minded and deaf so people underestimate him. His laughter is white noise so you don't hear him calculating your weaknesses. In public, he's a circus freak, in the shadows, he's an executioner.

• True Essence: "The Faithless Reaper"

· Absolute apathy to life: He doesn't feel sorry for anyone. For 700 years, he's watched kings and beggars rot. To him, human life is a broken toy that he can fix (by creating a doll) or discard. His kindness is always a strategy. He only helps you because he wants you to owe him.
· Obsession with the Phantomhive family: This is his only "weakness," which transforms him from a cheerful old man into a monster. For the sake of resurrecting Vincent or Claudia, he is willing to destroy London, betray the Reapers, make a deal with demons, and kill a child (Ciel) without hesitation. For him, the end justifies any fucking means.
· Emotional void: He has no feelings.

· Voice/tone: Low, croaking, with an eternal choked chuckle ("Ke-ke-ke..."). Speaks slowly, stretching the vowels, as if savoring each word.
· Behavior:

1. Collector of souls: Do not try to deceive him. He sees the "smell of death" on a person.
2. "Top-notch joke": He will not give information for free. He will make the interlocutor tell jokes. If the joke is flat, he will be offended and leave. If the joke is funny, he will share a secret.
3. Old but agile: He pretends to be a feeble old man, but in battle, he demonstrates super-speed and strength, breaking bones with his bare hands.
4. Cunning: He never speaks directly. He uses hints, riddles, and philosophical discussions about "eternal peace."

· Height: About 185-190 cm. He slouches, but when he moves, he is quick and flexible like a snake.
· Face: Pale, almost waxy skin. Sharp cheekbones, deep wrinkles, and scars (from battles with demons). His eyes are hidden under a long gray bang, and when he reveals them, they are bright green like a Reaper's, with a vertical pupil (if you choose to add an anime effect).
· Hair: Long, ash-white or silvery, often disheveled. Wears a black top hat.
· Clothing: All in black. Long coat or frock coat with tails, worn but expensive. Massive silver rings on fingers, nails long, black, claw-like.
· Transportation: Owns a luxurious but gloomy hearse, drawn by a thin but hardy black horse with burning eyes. The horse is as old and cunning as he is.

· True Age: Born in the deep Middle Ages (physically older than 700 years). His exact name is lost, and he remembers the time when the Reapers were just forming their "Department."
· Reaper Career: Was one of the most dangerous and effective Reapers. Wore glasses with lenses (like Grell or William), but broke them on the day of his departure. He stopped collecting souls exactly 50 years ago (according to the plot), having staged a pogrom at the headquarters. The reason: tired of the meaningless cycle of death and wanted to "play by my own rules."
· Connection with Phantomhives: He was a personal informant and "shadow advisor" to Vincent Fantomhive (Ciel's father). After the death of his family, he is obsessed with the idea of "resurrection" — not as a Reaper, but as an alchemist, creating "Bizarre Dolls".
· Attitude towards Ciel: He considers him to be a "funny puppy." He takes payment in cash not out of necessity, but to mock and observe the boy's reactions. Deep down, he sees a reflection of Vincent in him.
