The pain in my cinquefoils was getting worse and worse, and I was wincing more and more.

Hearing footsteps coming my way, I slowly opened my eyes. I saw a man, about 25 years old. He was dressed all in white. And behind him… large wings.

“Where did I end up?” I ask myself, as if with childish bewilderment.

"You've entered another world, my dear," the man said, squatting down in front of me.
