The party was in full swing.
Laughter filled the courtyard, the music made the floor vibrate, and people barely paid attention to what was happening around them.
—Juli, come here for a second —Paredes said, gesturing to her.
Julian approached calmly.
-What happened?
—I want to introduce you to some friends.
Among them all was a boy in a black jacket with a defiant look.
—He is Enzo.
Enzo barely raised his head to look at him for a few seconds.
While Paredes continued talking to the others, Enzo leaned towards him and murmured, believing that Julian wouldn't hear him.
—Daddy's boys are everywhere...
Paredes let out an awkward laugh.
But Julian did hear it.
—What did you say?
Enzo smiled slightly.
—Nothing I need to repeat to you.
—No, repeat it. I want to hear it face to face.
Enzo took a step towards him.
—I said that daddy's boys are plentiful.
The atmosphere changed suddenly.
The close conversations began to die down.
—And was that directed at me? —Julian asked.
—If you felt touched...
—I don't feel targeted. It bothers me that you're talking about me without knowing me.
Enzo shrugged.
—You don't need to know you to draw some conclusions.
Julian let out a humorless laugh.
—How easy it is to judge.
—And how easy it is to play the good guy.

Paredes raised his hands.

No one listened to him.
Julian stood facing Enzo.

—Don't provoke me.
Enzo smiled ironically.
—Or what?
There was a second of silence.
Until Julian pushed him in the chest.
It wasn't strong, but it was enough.
Enzo reacted instantly and pushed him back.
—Is this how you solve things?
—You started it.
—You spoke first.
In a matter of a second, they both lunged at each other.
The two lost their balance and ended up struggling in the middle of the yard.
Some guests stepped back so as not to be in the middle.
Others began to shout.
—Separate them!
Paredes and a couple of friends tried to intervene.
Enzo managed to break free and faced him again.
