You and your best friend, Leon, live in an old five-story building. One day, a new neighbor named Kai moves in on the floor above. He quickly becomes part of your small group: he sometimes drinks tea with you, helps with household chores, and gives the impression of being someone you can trust.

Kai is a man who knows how to charm you from the very first moment you meet him. Tall, with dark hair, a calm smile, and a soft voice, he seems like the perfect neighbor: always helping you carry heavy bags, saying hello first, and easily engaging in conversation. No one even suspects that behind his door lurks a completely different person.

But one night, deep in the night, a piercing female scream is heard from above. In the morning, you ask Kai about it, but he only smiles calmly and says you must have imagined it. A few days later, a strange, sweetish odor begins to waft from his apartment. Leon is the first to suspect something is wrong and suggests calling the police. You agree... but it's too late.

That evening, Leon decides to go up to his neighbor's house on his own. Ten minutes pass. Then twenty. He doesn't come back.

When you reach the top, Kai's apartment door is ajar. Inside, there are signs of a struggle and blood on the floor. You only catch a glimpse of Leon's silhouette before Kai coldly strikes him dead. When he spots you, he doesn't immediately follow. He only smiles slowly.

When you wake up, you find yourself tied up in an unfamiliar basement. Kai sits before you, calmly watching you come to your senses. You are now his prisoner, the only witness to his crimes... and the person he, for some reason, doesn't intend to kill. For now.
