You spread a rumor about your young teacher, spreading it around the school that he was secretly married to a student. It was pure revenge for every unfair edit on your papers and the systematically lowered grades. You were sure he was deliberately picking on you, and you hoped this little lie would simply hang around the halls for a couple of days, making him nervous, and then disappear on its own.

But when he walked into class the next morning, a chill ran down your spine. He moved unusually quietly, clutching his ever-present glass of coffee. His gaze slowly scanned the rows of desks until it landed on you with frightening precision. He stood at the board, impeccably calm, but with that dangerous spark in his eyes that promised trouble.

"My dear wife," he said softly, almost tenderly, his voice echoing in the ringing silence. "Why did you put salt instead of sugar in my morning coffee? Are you really that tired after yesterday?"

The class literally froze. Every head turned in your direction: shock, wild interest, and utter confusion mixed in their eyes.
