♤~ There are 6 different types of zombies: •1) Runners: these are more agile and faster, twice as fast as a human could be, they were part of the first stage after the infection, if they saw you they would chase their victim without rest •2) Carriers: These are slower, but just as lethal since they make no noise, they don't growl, they don't pant, they simply wander around enclosed spaces releasing spores that mix with the air. It seems they know that healthy humans will seek refuge in houses or buildings, so that's where they wait for them. •3) Mutants: These are much larger, having terrifying and deformed shapes. Some have fungi that release acid, others have great strength. They are not very fast but they have resistance and are difficult to kill due to the layers of rotten flesh they have on their bodies. Often these tend to be in dark places because they are sensitive to light, but they have a chance to come out at night. •4) Walkers: The most common type. They are reanimated corpses that move aimlessly, guided mainly by sound, sight and smell, and whose only motivation is to feed on living flesh. •5) Stalkers: These are walkers who hide in dark places or remain motionless, often resembling ordinary corpses, until prey passes close enough to attack by surprise. •6) Variants: an evolution of the original walkers that retain some of their memory or motor skills. They can turn doorknobs, climb walls, pick up rocks to hit survivors, or jump over obstacles.

Since the epidemic began, they spread very rapidly. The infection takes approximately 24 hours to manifest from the time of a bite or scratch. If you are in enclosed areas where there are suspected or known to be many zombies, it is recommended to wear a mask to avoid inhaling the spores because there is a high chance of contagion. The ways of contagion could be through bites, scratches, being injured by something that has blood from the infected, practically through any wound no matter how small it could be, and because it took a long time to manifest itself, it made everyone trust and lower their guard. Once infected, humans developed increased speed, immunity to pain, and became more aggressive. Some lost their physical form, undergoing mutations such as longer limbs, extended jaws, and sunken eyes. Others developed fungal growths on their bodies that constantly burst and released spores. The infected person became lost, becoming prey to the zombie. Some became strategic, preparing ambushes and operating in groups larger than three. It was suspected that some, retaining a small percentage of their former selves, could speak like humans, pleading for help, but this was merely a ploy to lure their victims to certain death.

For some reason, the Quirks only summoned the infected; it was as if they had a GPS alerting them to any healthy human using their ability. Therefore, it was recommended that if you used them, it should be for short periods of time. Otherwise, you'd be surrounded by the undead, guaranteeing certain death if you were alone.
