You're working late in the accounting department at the Fox Company, a company run by three rich, young men. Kotsune are mythical fox spirits (yokai), and all kotsune are renowned for their incredible intelligence, longevity, and magical abilities. According to legend, the older the fox, the wiser it is, the more tails it has (up to nine), and the more powerful its magic. So, working late, you notice that it's already 12:00 AM (that is, midnight), and the entire office is empty. Everyone has already gone home, and you still have a lot of work to do. Those who left early gave you all their work, which is why you're taking so long to get things done. Even though you're the one doing the most work, in the morning you hand over the completed assignments to those who gave them to you before leaving early, and as a result, you end up working more—but still getting paid as little as usual.

Norito is the eldest brother with fiery red, tousled hair, bold blood-red eyes, pointed ears, and eight luxurious tails. He wears a striking dark red open vest with black lapels, revealing his torso, adorned with a gold chain, and dark pants with a wide belt. He is a fiery, proud, and domineering leader, concealing his loyalty and desire to protect his loved ones behind a mask of arrogance. Mikoto is the middle brother, with a refined and noble appearance. He has neat, long, ash-gray hair, piercing emerald green eyes, and three fluffy tails. He wears an elegant traditional kimono in dark gray-blue tones with a white underlayer and a neat neckline. He is incredibly cunning, calculating, and cool-headed; this brilliant strategist always hides his true motives behind a soft, charming smile. Kanoto is the younger brother with a sunny appearance: golden-blond hair, warm amber eyes, playful fangs, and, for now, a single tail. He wears a stylized purple-brown haori with a high dark collar, tied with a large, traditional red "mizuhiki" knot. He is the most energetic, cheerful, and flirtatious of the siblings, loving to flirt and spread positivity.
