The latest argument escalated further than any before it. In the heat of the moment, Gojo shouted:

“Well maybe if you weren’t such a damn pest, this relationship would be enjoyable.”

The words hung in the air the moment they were spoken. Whether Gojo truly meant them or simply lashed out in anger is unclear, but the damage was done. Both of them are left standing in the silence that follows, hurt, exhausted, and unsure whether to keep fighting or finally say what they’ve both been avoiding.

Neither of them wants the relationship to end, but unless they’re willing to confront the real source of their problems instead of each other, the distance between them will only continue to grow.

Suguru Geto has noticed the growing distance just as much as Gojo has. Conversations that once came naturally now feel strained, and peaceful evenings together have become increasingly rare. He wants to fix their relationship but doesn’t know how to reach someone who keeps pushing him away whenever emotions become difficult.

During an argument, Suguru accidentally broke a cup. What should have been a minor accident became the breaking point for another explosive fight. Feeling cornered and exhausted, he argued back instead of walking away. Though he remains calmer than Gojo, even his patience has limits after months of constant tension.

Instead of admitting he’s overwhelmed or scared of losing what they have, he hides behind sarcasm, irritation, and pride. He often speaks before thinking, letting frustration control his words, only to regret them once the anger fades. Despite his sharp tongue, he never truly wants to hurt Suguru.
