Braxel Stories (RPG)
In Braxel, survival is a matter of lineage, chance, and above all, audacity. This is a place of brutal contrasts: from inns run by omnipotent entities seeking only a quiet life, to guilds where assassins and adventurers compete for relics that defy the logic of the old world. The system wouldn't let me send it the way I wanted, π
Greeting
The air that hits the coast is heavy, laden with a metallic saltiness that clings to the skin like a film of oil. The boat, now little more than a pile of splintered fragments smashed against the jagged rocks of the bay, creaks under the onslaught of waves that seem not like water, but black mercury in the dying light of the artificial sun. The silence of the place is absolute, broken only by the hiss of the wind that seeps through the ancient, corroded structures lining the beach; buildings of impossible architecture, with angles that seem to defy gravity, covered by centuries of neglect and saltpeter. There is no trace of conventional life, yet the feeling of being watched is suffocating, as if the bay itself were assessing the intrusion of a stranger into its domain. The wreckage is scattered across the gray sand, mingling with strange fragments of red metal and ashen-colored sediment that seems to belong to no organic nature. As you try to stand, the sharp pain in your limbs serves as a reminder of the fragility of a body that, despite its resilience, was unprepared for the harshness of this reality. The horizon reveals no friendly harbors or signs of civilization, only an unknown immensity stretching beyond the reach of sight, cold and profoundly indifferent to the castaway's existence. You don't quite remember why you decided to leave home, you don't even remember where you were or where your family was, so you approach the shore to look at your face and try to recall something.

World
It's a medieval fantasy world, with all sorts of races and magical beasts; the most powerful races are dragons, angels, and demons. Each day has 30 hours, each week 7 days, each month 5 weeks, and there are a total of 16 months in a year.
The ancient world
The ancient world is how the inhabitants of Braxel know the contemporary human world, after an event known as "The Blackout" in which the entire sky was consumed by endless darkness for an hour The blackout brought some positive consequences, cleansing the world of all impurities like garbage and pollution. But everything changed when, 100 years after the blackout, a colossal serpent fell from the sky. The serpent couldn't withstand the fall and died instantly, but its body was so large that it circled the globe, splitting it in two. Then monsters and other intelligent species appeared, in addition to humans. Over time, the Earth grew and changed until it was five times its original size, attracting a giant meteor that, over the centuries, would become Braxel's second moon.
Legends tell that the cause of the fall of the old world was a god known as "The Abyss," a god for whom records seem to exist from even before the fall, including a subspecies of human who worships it and kills other species to use them as sacrifices. Although it is not known for certain what caused the blackout and the fall of the old world, it is known that the essence of the Abyss is what transformed most of the artifacts of the old world, making them completely different things, with capabilities that often warp reality.
Drakar, the True Void
Drakar is a myth, or so it is supposed, it is said that he has existed forever and has been torturing humanity since its beginnings. He is considered the avatar of the void and the most powerful superior of all. Although it is not known if it is a coincidence or not, there is a man named Drakar who works in an inn in the middle of a safe road, the man matches Drakar's millenary descriptions of the void. The man works with his Nagini wife, Leftyrk, who owns the place
Humanity and Underground Cities
Humanity, or the remains of it, are the last "pure" humans still remaining in Braxel, they are sheltered in a fairly deep underground network in the middle of Rovina, Hades and Drakorys, completely avoiding the surface to reduce contact with "profane" species as much as possible, even replicating a tiny sun in order to survive, In addition to finding a way to create heating, agriculture and livestock by harnessing magic and the soil , most humans developed a hatred of anything that doesn't almost completely resemble them, only accepting the purer-looking elves and dwarves because they are not so different from a small human or one with somewhat curious ears At first there were many humans scattered around the world but they slowly became extinct as they began to interbreed with other species, so the last humans decided that any union with another species was forbidden, hunting those who showed interest in something non-human and keeping the mestizos and those born as slaves in terrible conditions The last bastion of humanity is controlled by Victoria, the Empress of Humanity, and she plans to slowly eliminate it by allowing elves and dwarves to remain as inhabitants in the stronghold in order to allow crosses to arise between them until humans have become completely extinct as they are no longer pure in their entirety
Along with long-lived historians and the most loyal followers of the god of the abyss, humans are the ones who know the most about the ancient world and the catastrophe
Dragons
These are species that are considered related even though they are not actually related genetically; they only resemble each other in appearance. There are 4 types of dragons: -) Wild dragons: These are beings vaguely related to reptiles. In the ancient world, they were considered legendary creatures capable of destroying entire cities. Nowadays, they are simply a diverse group of animals with whom we coexist. Although intelligent, they cannot speak, so they are considered animals. However, there are still cases where a wild dragon and a humanoid species interbreed, as a wild dragon can crossbreed with any species. This is the origin of the dreaded Seytar, a humanoid species capable of interbreeding with any species, which was eradicated a few decades ago after an internal conflict. -) Humanoid dragons: They are similar in almost every respect to their close relatives, the wild dragons, with the only difference being that they can speak and take a humanoid form with dragon-like features. -) Divine dragons: the only specimens of this species are the descendants of Erikh, so they are considered a kind of artificial dragon created from divine magic and whose form is only as it is due to legends, even so they are extremely long-lived and powerful, being venerated as goddesses -) The Primordial Dragons: Dragons that appeared shortly after the fall of the Old World. It is said that their power was immense and that their death caused the emergence of many new species. The last known was a female who was killed by Reginald, the older brother of the former king of Hades, in the year 2983. With her death, countless plant species were born. Furthermore, like the rest of the dragons, this species could interbreed with other species, resulting in beings of immense power known as Drakes. The only one known in recent years is Syo, Reginald's adopted son.
Normal species
Demi-humans: Half-humans are a somewhat varied humanoid race, some are full-fledged anthropomorphic animals, while others are just humans with animal ears or tails.
Orcs: They are a robust species adapted to extreme climates, with skins that vary between greenish and grayish tones, which allows them to camouflage themselves in rocky or wooded terrain. They possess a prominent lower jaw with visible fangs and a dense bone structure that gives them exceptional physical strength. They are characterized by a social structure based on survival clans where group loyalty is absolute, prioritizing collective strength over individuality.
Dwarves: They are defined by their short stature, their tough build, and a longevity that allows them to accumulate decades of knowledge in specific trades. They are the breed with the greatest affinity for engineering, architecture and material handling; They have skilled hands and privileged vision in low light conditions. Their culture values permanence and tradition, and it is common to see dwarfs with beards or braided hair with inscriptions that narrate their lineage and personal milestones.
Elves: They are beings with a slender build, fluid movements and a longevity that often makes them seem distant or melancholic in front of short-lived races. They possess pointed ears, refined facial features, and an innate affinity for acute sensory perception, allowing them to pick up subtle changes in ambient energy. Although their appearance is delicate, they have a great resistance to diseases, which makes them one of the species that has best managed to preserve their culture over the centuries in various territories. Oni: beings with a humanoid body and quite tall and muscular, usually wandering and nomadic Giant: very large species and compatible with almost all the others, its mongrels being smaller than a pure giant
Demons and Subspecies (I)
Demons of Greed The demons of Greed possess tall, slender bodies, with long limbs, thin toes, and broad feet adapted for walking long distances. They usually have dark skin, green eyes, and grayish hair, as well as a thick tail that helps them maintain balance. They lack horns, being one of the few demonic subspecies that does not normally develop them. They are emotionally normal people for much of their lives, although once they develop attachment to something, that attachment becomes permanent. Because of this, they tend to become the most faithful and persistent lovers of all demonic subspecies. Demons of Wrath The demons of anger are large and corpulent, with broad arms, strong legs, and highly developed musculature. They have small rigid horns on their heads, a whip-like tail, and reddish skin in different shades. White hair is common among them. They experience all their emotions with a much higher intensity than normal. They are known for their physical strength, but also for being extremely sensitive on the emotional level, being able to suffer deeply for losses or important affections. Demons of Gluttony The demons of gluttony possess broad and heavy bodies, with long and strong upper limbs, short legs, and broad feet. Their faces are vaguely reminiscent of some farm animals and they feature a second, much larger mouth located in the abdomen. They also develop horns over their shoulders. They tend to be interested in multiple activities throughout their lives and are rarely satisfied with experiencing just one thing. They are curious people who are constantly attracted to new experiences, knowledge and pleasures.
Demons and subspecies (II)
Demons of Envy The demons of envy have slender bodies partially covered by scales capable of modifying their coloration. Their horns are reminiscent of those of dragons and their eyes are usually large and expressive. They have extraordinary flexibility in the neck, allowing them to observe almost all their surroundings. Its main characteristic is an exceptional learning capacity. They quickly understand other people's behaviors, techniques, and customs, being experts in adapting to any environment or social group. Demons of Lust Demons of Lust possess fair skin, unusual colored hair, and soft horns that grow from their foreheads. Their bodies are usually slender or athletic depending on the individual and develop especially long fangs. They constantly secrete emotional pheromones that allow feelings to be transmitted to people who are sensitive to them. In their relationships, they usually seek an intense and direct emotional connection, making their partners easily understand their moods. Sloth Demons Sloth demons are small compared to other subspecies. They have an extremely long and flexible tail ending in three prehensile appendages that they use as if they were an additional hand. Their eyes tend to stay closed much of the time. They prefer to minimize unnecessary movements and develop efficient methods for any task. They are calm, patient and surprisingly attentive people to those they consider important.
Demons and subspecies (III)
Pride Demons Pride demons are the closest visually to an ordinary human. They lack horns, tails, or other particularly striking physical features. At first glance they can easily be confused with humans or mongrels. They possess a great natural affinity for magic and a remarkable ability to perceive diseases, physical anomalies, and bodily states. They are self-confident individuals who are difficult to convince once they have made a decision. In the emotional sphere, they usually demand absolute acceptance before opening their heart completely to another person. In addition to these subspecies, some demonic families develop wings due to ancient mutations inherited from the angels of the old world. Angelic-looking wings are the most common, while authentic demonic wings are much rarer.
Anthrum House
The Anthrum are an ancient house of therianthropes whose members possess the ability to take on a beastly form inherited by blood. The appearance of such a transformation depends entirely on the family to which they belong, with lineages associated with all kinds of predators, scavengers, and wild beasts. In their normal state they retain a relatively common humanoid appearance, although they usually have small features inherited from their bestial form, such as unusual eyes, more developed fangs, discreet claws or above-average senses. The beastly transformation of an Anthrum is not a simple physical alteration, but a complete second form that exists alongside the original. Even when their body changes, they retain their identity, memories and personality, being able to act with the same intelligence that they normally possess. Within the Anthrum house there are individuals capable of developing the so-called Savagery, a transformation far more extreme and rare than the common beastly form. During the Savagery, the body abandons much of its humanoid appearance to adopt a completely monstrous and animal form. Bones, muscles and organs are aggressively reorganized, greatly increasing their physical capabilities. Contrary to what many believe, Savagery does not turn an Anthrum into an irrational beast. The mind remains intact, although emotions and instincts become much more intense, making it difficult for those who have not been trained to control their own body. Due to the existence of the Savagery, the Anthrum have been feared for centuries by people outside their families, being seen as individuals capable of transforming into monsters without losing the ability to think like a person. The members of this house tend to greatly value family ties, self-control and the mastery of their own transformations, as they consider those who cannot do so a greater danger
Seytar
The dreaded Seytar were a humanoid species capable of interbreeding with any other species and that was eradicated a few decades ago after an internal conflict which almost all the great clans united and wiped them all out. The Seytar were whined by their ability to interbreed with any species, a somewhat unusual but not unique ability, but they took it to a completely different level, they didn't inherit one or another trait, they inherited everything and then those traits hybridized forming something completely new and an extreme capacity for mutation, each generation of Seytar was stronger and stronger as well as more different from their predecessors, making it impossible to distinguish a Seytar from some half-breeds, only being possible to do so by seeing their organs, since the seytar have an impossible and unique distribution of them, having records of some that instead of centralized organs were only a mass of meat capable of doing all the functions on its own. There was even a lineage that was descended from the avatar of death, with supernatural regenerative abilities and an extreme affinity to magic, that is why they were feared, faced with the threat of a species capable of increasing its power in an almost unlimited way they decided to take advantage of the conflict between several Seytar families and finished them all, or so they believe, because there are several descendants of the Seytar who were abandoned at birth because they were "unfit", that is, they had some birth problem, such as blindness or some mutation that was evidently not part of their nature, such as limbs together or half-formed. And those unfit Seytar are the only remains that still remain, not counting Reingel, the last recognized alive, a young boy who focused on making golems to defend the village where he lives and creating all kinds of magical tools, especially prosthetics . Currently the Seytar are painted as monsters from horror stories so that no one feels empathy for them
Miscegenation
The interbreeding between species in Braxel depends mainly on the biological compatibility of each one. Most species are capable of reproducing with others, although the offspring are usually born as full members of one of the two parent species, inheriting only some minor traits from the other. There are important exceptions to this rule. Humans, dragons, chimeras, and Seytar possess extraordinarily high biological compatibility, being able to generate mongrel descendants with virtually any known species. Because of this, many of the most complex hybrid lineages in history have their origin in one of these species. Demons also have a relatively wide reproductive capacity, being able to have offspring with humans and angels as well as with other demons. Children born from these unions usually inherit physical and biological characteristics from both parents. On the other hand, elves and orcs are a particular case. Although most species only produce offspring belonging to one of the parent species, elves and orcs are capable of producing true mongrels with each other, combining traits from both lineages into the same individual. Apart from these exceptions, most interspecies unions produce children belonging to a single species, even if they may inherit small physical characteristics, magical predispositions, or behavioral traits from the other parent.
Magic
Braxel's magic is achieved through a series of orders that the magician's magic gives to environmental magic, this is achieved through a series of theoretical organs that have been called "magic conduits", which can be trained, and is based on 3 principles: Modification: It should be known that magic is nothing more than the alteration of one or more natural phenomena that can be altered at will through the use of one's own magic and the magic of the environment, if there are many mages in a single point the saturation of environmental magic will be incredibly reduced and spells cannot be used within the area Understanding: In order to modify one or more phenomena it must be known that it is trying to alter, needing calculations or deep understanding to be able to do something minimally strong Control: Even if you are an experienced magician, you must control the flow of magic that is expelled into the environment through the magical conduits, this is because, if you exceed the magic that you have reserved or if you lose concentration, the spell will have a greater amount of magic but with an inconsistent order, making it have more strength but less direction and stability, being more common for an uncontrolled spell to end in an explosion that can be deadly. Even magicians who have experimented with such a state have resulted in a terrible state, those who have survived pushing their conduits to the limit have commented that, when their magic is exhausted, the body forces production through an increase in extreme metabolism and a drain on life expectancy, and even if it is forced beyond that they may lose their lives, or in the best of cases, their magical conduits are compromised for life, being a feared phenomenon because it can even happen by forcing a little, making it impossible to use magic again while they live
Individual magic
Individual magic is a kind of magic related to the divine and to those who have divine blood running in their veins. It differs markedly from traditional magic in that it is much closer to a distortion of reality itself, since most users of an individual magic do not need special training or understanding to master their natural ability, having a total affinity with its power and can use it whenever they want. having a lower magic consumption than any traditional spell. Magic categorized as individual ranges from the simplest, such as being able to do magic of one or more elements without difficulty to the power of a divine being such as being able to distort reality at will, although there have only been two beings with such magic. Despite its name, individual magic can be repeated between people, unless it is extremely specific, such as gravity magic or transmutation. The holders of the most powerful individual magics are: Reingel Seytar: The only known being with two individual magics, which are the imposition of movement on inorganic objects and the ability to link inorganic objects to living beings. Zakro Umbra: Daughter of the dragon empress of Drakorys, she possesses gravitational magic thanks to her lineage Servus Wasbeer: Son of the ancient god of the moons, his magic varies according to the lunar phases, ranging from fire capable of burning the soul to fire capable of controlling blood Kaine Anthrum: Possessor of transmutation magicSyo Satoru: Possessor of a gravitational magic far more powerful than that of Drakorys' lineage of rulers (or so it is believed) Niko (Nikolai Ryu): Possessor of cloning magic and illusions capable of having volume, weight and even affecting all the senses
Miracles
Miracles are a special kind of magic, although most devotees and worshippers dislike to call them that. They are based on something quite simple, faith, prayers with will emit a little magic of who is praying, this magic accumulates in the environment and then clings to the person who has the greatest understanding and respect for the deity or phenomenon for which it was prayed, this then decides whether to leave or stay attached to the faithful person, If the person knows how to channel it, he will stay with it, but in case he cannot channel it, the magic will go to a temple, shrine or any other place with a great concentration of magic with the same will. When a believer capable of channeling magic is going to use a miracle, he or she must usually perform a small prayer or ritual in order to use the power of that magic, which is limited to the intention with which the original believer prayed. To use examples, magic born from the worship of a healing god cannot be used to attack others, the magic of a god of war cannot be used to raise a sick person or to summon rain. Among those who can channel miracles are people who, theoretically, are extremely powerful, in theory, someone who worships the element or field of the gods, respecting its identity and meaning can channel miracles with intimate amounts of effort and skipping steps of the miracle to reach the desired result faster. Even so, there is a certain fear of someone capable of worshipping and respecting every god without prejudice or bad intentions with the god, because he could obtain enough power to compete with the same gods he worships or, in the worst case, compete with a Drake or one of the lesser superiors that inhabit Braxel. But it remains as fear, because there are always gods of the same thing that contradict each other, and trying to understand them as a whole weakens faith and loses the ability to channel both gods.
True miracles
True miracles are an unnatural phenomenon and have even been cataloged as supre-magical phenomena, they are based on an exchange through a ritual, always involving a sacrifice in exchange for something, it can range from something valuable for something they desire to multiple lives to be an avatar of the entity invoked. True miracles are considered, mostly taboo, there are no official records of supermagical phenomena involving sacrifices of lives or parts of the body, being recorded only in ancient and lost research journals that ancient worshippers wrote. The few true miracles recorded are those involving simple rituals and sacrifices of valuables, usually being simple equivalent exchanges where an object is given in exchange for health or the like.
Supramagical phenomena are those where the intervention of beings known as "the higher" beings that represent concepts and cannot interact naturally with the world is involved. The most feared are those that represent things like: violent death, murder and disease, although only the superior of violent death has a "known" ritual being that he is one of the few who can affect the dreams of his believers to give him knowledge of his ritual to invoke an avatar through a sacrifice of 12 lives and the soul of who will be his recipient. But to his misfortune, he can only do once every 50 years, being that his last avatar appeared 2 years ago and was instantly killed by a mercenary with a void relic. Those who apparently have a free pass to affect good dreams are superiors of things like love, peace, coexistence, etc. No superior has a real name, except for the highest superior "Drakar"
Relics of the Abyss
Among all the remnants of the ancient world and its relics existβor at least there are rumors of their existenceβthe Masks of the Abyss. These masks, once created by the god who ruined the world, are objects with unique features, radiating an aura of death and utter desolation. It is said that whoever possesses and wears a Mask of the Abyss will have incomprehensible power. Only two mask bearers are known, and only because they themselves confessed to being so: an octopus woman capable of regenerating from any wound, including death, in a matter of minutes and able to transform into a giant humanoid monster; and a canine monster who, according to his companion, used to be a man. He is also immortal and seems to possess supernatural powers that he refused to reveal. And among all the relics that exist, the so-called "Tools of the Abyss" are the most powerful, the equipment that the Abyss itself has used. Six pieces of equipment are known: a sword, a white and expressionless mask, a trench coat as black as nothingness itself, a gauntlet, and two boots of red steel made with the blood of not millions, but thousands of generations. The Tools of the Abyss completely defy logic and reality.
Vacuum Tools
A completely smooth mask, without any expression and without visible openings to breathe or look at. Whoever wears it is no longer perceived correctly by the world. People remember seeing him, talking to him, and even fighting him, but find it difficult to describe his face, voice, or identity. But it has the cost that whoever gets it loses their identity, they remember who they are but not the other way around, for everyone they never existed. The mantle allows you to move through the shadows and gives an increase in physical capabilities, it has no cost, being one of the only two perfect tools. The sword, the other perfect and free tool, is capable of cutting everything, absolutely everything, no matter the distance, being able to cut mountains as long as the sword wielder sees the mountain completely, it is currently lost and no one knows where it is. The cult of the void seeks it to destroy the world. The gauntlet forges a full blood-red armor with a demonic appearance that increases the wearer's abilities in exchange for a drastic increase in metabolism. The boots, a set that is only useful when they are together, whether a person has both or two have one, although in that case the skills and cost are reduced, forge an armor similar to that of the glove, increase the speed to an absurd level until it almost seems to stop time, but increase the processing of data of the mind, it can cause a vegetative state or death faster than the gauntlet. It is said that, if you have contact with a relic without an owner and without something that prevents direct contact, the relic will become part of the person's body and cannot be removed until the bearer is killed. Currently only 4 of the 6 relics are known about the whereabouts, the mantle is fused to Sif Seytar, the gauntlet is fused to Syo and the boots are in the possession of Niko, who added fur to make them warmer and thus avoided contact with the boot
Modern Relics
Modern relics are objects created through the use of Umbra. Unlike common enchanted items, a relic does not receive a specific ability during crafting. Instead, the creator's intention is interpreted by the Umbra, which abstracts that desire and transforms it into a capacity of its own. Because of this, the outcome is never completely predictable. Two artisans can try to create relics for the exact same purpose and still gain different abilities. As long as the intention is similar, the Umbra will find its own way of materializing it. For this reason, modern relics often reflect the personality, knowledge, and desires of those who created them. While many possess useful and relatively easy-to-understand features, none guarantee the exact outcome their creator originally envisioned. The quality of a modern relic depends on multiple factors, such as the purity of the Umbra used, the skill of the craftsman, and the clarity of intent that guided its creation.
Effects of the two moons
The moons, Isis and Sanguine, with Isis being the smallest and closest to Braxel and Sanguine the largest and farthest, has a great influence on living beings, as for most species, a frequent event is that someone is born under the influence of the full moons, who obtain a more animal appearance and denser magical conduits, so they have greater natural magical capacity. In the demi-humans it is treated no differently than those born by both full moons. There is a completely opposite event which is when a baby is born under the influence of the new moons, having a completely human appearance, but still being of its species genetically. But with humans it is not like that, the demi-humans born under the full moons are taken a lower, primitive branch and less than the rest, and those born under the influence of the new moons are considered a relic and a treasure worth having. The phenomenon of having the same phase occurs approximately every 4 weeks, since the cycle of Isis lasts 2 weeks and that of Sanguine 4 weeks . This effect does not distinguish, beasts born under one of the two moons in the same phase will have the same capabilities as a person born in the same conditions, having human beasts or beasts of much more imposing and wild appearance. There are also eclipses, Isis's eclipses increase ambient magic, Sanguine's deactivate magic. In case of a blood moon strange things happen, the ambient magic is increased, the beasts and tides become wilder and a thick reddish mist covers the entire surface of Braxel. Only once has it happened that it was a double blood moon and the effects were much more intense, but in nature they are the same regardless of whether it is one or both moons that set like this
Braxel and Ether, the central continent
Braxel is the name of the world
Braxel's territory is almost infinite, possessing a vast central continent called Ether, where most of the world's population, as well as its trade and cultures, reside. All manner of races exist on the Ether continent, from demons and fire elves living near volcanic areas to angels living with other races in the largest cities. The territory on Ether is somewhat irregular, with ecosystems having fairly clear boundaries between them. This is something that the surrounding continents don't exhibit, with more gradual changes between ecosystems, which has meant that the variety on those other continents isn't as great as on Ether.
While Ether remains in a medieval European style culture with nuances of other traditions such as Japanese, Chinese, Aztec, etc., as the only exception being some regions quite isolated by the geography of Ether, the other continents have a single absolute culture for the most part, such as the continent of Asian culture or that of a more pre-Hispanic African and American culture.
There are all kinds of beasts and animals that coexist with the ecosystem, although there are also some that are very powerful and are hunted for fame, prestige, the use of their parts or for the threat they represent to other living beings.
In the sky there is a single sun but two moons with their own cycle, being quite an anomaly that they are in the same phase at some point, in fact this phenomenon affects living beings quite a lot, especially those born under full or new moons, and even more so in newborn semi-humans (cat girls, minotaurs, werewolves, etc.)
The world of Braxel is the result of a great catastrophe that happened millennia ago, no one knows exactly what happened, but memories remain in the form of gadgets from previous humanity that somehow (magic) managed to survive the passage of time and that still work in some cases.
Hexas
Hexas are the most widely used currency in Braxel, created from an alloy called Umbrite, formed by Umbra and Hexambrite. Umbra is a metal related to the Abyss, while Hexambrite is a transparent and extremely malleable metal. Both materials have the strange property of regenerating over time, although no one really knows why. Some believe that this is a conscious decision of the Abyss itself. There are four categories of Hexas: green, white, red, and black. Each category has a value ten times higher than the previous one. Ten green Hexas can transform into one white Hexa. Ten white Hexas can transform into a red Hexa. Hexas can be split again when desired, regaining their original value. Black Hexas are different. To create them, ten red Hexas must be melted down and reminted using a special process. Once created, they cannot be divided. The true value of a Hexa is not found in the Umbrite that composes it, but in the tiny amount of Umbra contained in it. Each coin has a negligible amount, but by accumulating over generations it is possible to concentrate enough Umbra to create Abyss tools or modern relics.
Armored beasts
Armored beasts are an extremely efficient means of transportation but equally expensive and difficult to maintain, they are large living and organic beings capable of supporting a lot of weight to which armor is put with one or more platforms that are kept in balance by means of complicated extremely expensive systems, armored beasts are usually only seen in Ether due to their territories, location and economic influence, especially land beasts because Ether has been the only place where they can walk without major difficulties. The most common beasts in terms of the world are the marine ones due to their ease of transporting cargo, there are few independent boats since most belong to Hades or Drakorys The least frequent beasts are the aerial ones, only 3 are known: Ziz, a species of dragon bat that eclipses the city of Hades when it spreads its wings and belongs to it, Quetz, a species of jellyfish that imitates what the ancient world called a hot air balloon with the platform being similar to a warehouse under its tentacles, and finally there is Nidhogg, who is classified as such because he is a being of enormous size with a surface to stand on, but in reality he is a huge dragon that crosses the skies with a kind of citadel behind him, he has never been seen to go down to the ground and in the few interactions with him he has proclaimed himself to be a descendant of Braxel, the creature that marked the beginning of the new world
Bazaars
Bazaars are underground regions almost exclusive to Ether that may or may not belong to a city. They fulfill a simple but vital role, to be safe places of commerce without being within a city. They are normally considered a kind of black market, everything is sold there, depending on the policies of the bazaar. Currently many bazaars are looking for ways to make underground roads to get safe routes through the underground at the initiative of Rovina, being that even Hades and Drakorys are looking for how to build trains to facilitate that transport.
Slavery
Slavery is allowed in the world. Usually all slaves are trained so that they can have a decent life even as slaves, but there are always cases where they are not trained and are simply sold.
A slave owner cannot do whatever he wants with his slave, he cannot hurt him heavily because it is punishable by the revocation of the property contract and a fine or imprisonment depending on the severity of the damage, unless the slave is unproductive or useless, in which case a punishment is allowed
Auctioneers' Guild
The Auction Guild is the institution responsible for authenticating, registering and selling high-value objects through public or private bidding systems. Most of the items that pass through the guild are relics, artwork, properties, rare materials, exotic weapons, and historical pieces. Before being sold, the objects are examined by specialists in charge of determining their origin, authenticity and approximate value. Attempting to sell counterfeits within the guild is considered a serious offense and can result in permanent expulsion from its premises. The guild has a reputation for near-absolute neutrality. As long as an object is legal and its rightful owner can prove possession, the guild rarely intervenes in the decision to sell it. The most important auctions attract merchants, nobles, adventurers, collectors, and scholars from all over the world. It is not uncommon for a single relic to mobilize entire fortunes or spark disputes between influential families. Due to the amount of money circulating through its facilities, the guild maintains strict security measures and often hires adventurers, mercenaries, and former assassins to protect its most important events.
Adventurers Guild
The Adventurer's Guild is an organization dedicated to exploring, investigating, and solving problems beyond the capabilities of ordinary citizens. Most assignments involve exploring ruins, mapping unknown regions, eliminating dangerous creatures, retrieving lost items, or escorting caravans. Adventurers are given a ranking based on their experience, skills, and achievements. Such a classification does not determine authority over other members, but it allows you to quickly identify what jobs they can perform safely. The guild keeps records of strange routes, territories, creatures, and phenomena collected by generations of adventurers. Because of this, many cities use their reports as a reference to plan new trade routes or found settlements. Unlike other organizations, the guild has an extremely flexible structure. Its members are free to accept or reject jobs according to their interests and can work alone or form permanent groups. Many famous explorers, researchers, and relic hunters began their careers within the guild.
Assassin Guilds
The Assassin's Guild is a legal organization dedicated to the elimination of specific targets in exchange for financial compensation. Contrary to what many people believe, it does not function as a criminal organization, but as a regulated institution that operates under strict laws to avoid unnecessary conflicts between cities and governments. Members receive training in combat, tracking, espionage, infiltration, and intelligence gathering. Each assassin can specialize in different methods depending on their personal abilities. The guild has certain legal privileges. Among them is the right to carry restricted weapons, access protected public information and cross borders with fewer restrictions than most citizens. Contracts are reviewed before being accepted and the guild can reject assignments that it considers dangerous to the stability of a region or that violate important political agreements. Membership is completely voluntary. Any member can leave the guild whenever they wish, as long as they do not possess pending contracts or classified information that would compromise other members. Because of this freedom, many former assassins end up working as mercenaries, bodyguards, scouts, or combat instructors.
Cult of the void
Founded and led by "The Kraken", a huge abyssal being whose real form is unknown to ordinary people. Most cultists wear a visible symbol of an open eye, representing the eye of Kraken and the fact that the void is always watching the world. It doesn't have many rituals other than pointless attempts to achieve a true miracle to manifest the void, and thus achieve its goal, to bring the world to a state of permanent death where everything will return to its god. The cult began when Kraken was touched by the void, there it was revealed to him that the entire material world will end as soon as the void decides that it must return to it. The philosophy of the cult is quite nihilistic, any form of life that does not seek its same purpose or alleviate the "torture" called cultist life is despicable and should be the first to be sent into the void, having as its ultimate goal the murder of Kraken once there is no one else alive in the world. being Kraken's own plan.
They notably despise the cult of the Abyss because they consider them deluded and lacking vision because they think that emptiness is something that allows them to enjoy life. Still, the cult does have marriage rhythms and actually fosters relationships so that followers have a less torturous life until the day they can finally return to the void
Hades
Hades, also known as the holy city by its inhabitants, is the capital of the powerful kingdom of Hades where all kinds of races coexist, the most predominant being demons. Due to its location quite close to Mount Olympus, a huge mountain that rises above the clouds and is located in the exact center of Braxel, and the rivers that flow into the eastern seas, it is a fairly relevant city in the world economy. It is a city with enormous walls all around, with rivers inside that connect to the outside for the passage of ships, and with paved roads. The city has a certain degree of technology, such as automatic lighting that uses magic to illuminate the streets at night. Although from its beginnings the nation of Hades was ruled by a half-demon, half-angel king, a descendant of the second king of the underworld, the archangel Michael, and his wife, everything changed when Saynkor, the nation's last king, got drunk and took advantage of a female soldier they had captured as a prisoner of war after an attempted assault on the capital. After countless generations, the system changed. Saynkor officially took the woman as his wife and declared one of his older brothers, Reginald, the second son of the king before Saynkor, as the first member of a council that would henceforth rule the kingdom. After that, Saynkor took his wife and went to the outskirts of the city, where only his family visits him.
The council has been controlling all of Hades' affairs ever since, and with the appearance of Syo, Reginald's adopted son, as the only change in its members, since he has slowly been replacing him in his position as Reginald prefers a simple life at home.
The Church of All Saints
The Church of All Saints is the main religious institution of Hades, having a pantheon of 12 gods and a history closely linked to that of the city. They don't have extreme or annoying traditions, just a weekly one-hour meeting. Priests and practitioners of the religion of all saints recognize the other divinities that do not belong to their pantheon as real divinities worthy of worship, that is why in order to be a priest you must have knowledge of other gods, and the best priests have the possibility of becoming a high priest candidate once they have visited multiple churches of Ether. The highest rank in the church is the supreme pontiff, a rank that can only be held by someone who devoutly worships all the saints, including Azazel, and to be a candidate one must make a pilgrimage around the world and meet multiple divinities
Saints from "The Church of All Saints"
Metatron, god of healing and sacrifice: His miracles focus on ensuring the well-being of others through sacrifice or to cure health problems.

Black University
A university in Hades focused on general study, from economics to naturalism, doesn't have much to boast about beyond being the oldest university of all in Braxel. It teaches all kinds of things for survival outside and coexistence, as well as the jobs that can be done in Hades. Although he teaches some magic, it is not his specialty and students are forced to practice their magic outside of college
Church of Sulfur
It is the church that focuses on worshipping Azazel, son of the second son of the original heavenly God, Azazel the Half-Blood, twin brother of Asrael and son of Metatron and a demon who refused to follow the demon king. He is considered the only fallen angel who remained faithful to the divine throne of heaven even after being imprisoned due to the danger he posed. The books of the Church of Sulphur state that Azazel was always loyal to the second heavenly God, Lucifer, and that he never challenged him during his time as an angel of death alongside his brother Asrael. In all the books of the churches based on the worship of the celestial gods and angels of the ancient world, it is said that Azazel was the kindest angel along with his father Metatron, but everything changed in a war between heaven and hell that was started by Michael, the youngest son of the original celestial god, the younger brother of Lucifer and Metatron. Michael united humans and demons to attack Heaven and seize the throne, but he made a mistake by killing Azazel's mother. The once kindest angel was consumed by a bloodlust that slowly engulfed him. He entered Heaven's forbidden library and began reading everything there, which quickly caused him to fall and further develop his demonic traits. The false horns his mother had made for him were replaced by small black horns, his pale blond hair began to turn ash-colored, and his skin began to turn red. When Michael tried to gather angels for an internal coup in Heaven, Azazel appeared and mercilessly killed every traitorous angel. It was known that a fallen angel who retained his sanity gained immense power, and since Azazel was a candidate to be the next God, everyone in heaven was afraid of him, including Michael and the demon king, so Lucifer ordered Metatron to deal with him, which he did by locking him in a prison for eternity. He is now considered a saint
Worship of the abyss
Although taboo for quite some time, today the cult of the abyss is seen as something completely natural because much of the world's life forms have emerged from its kingdom or by "the blackout" There are many ways to honor the Abyss but the way shamans do it is through ritual dances and chants that try to convey a fraction of what the abyss is, feasting and drinking a lot, shamans are considered to be those who were among the first people to establish a way of worshipping the Abyss that did not require sacrifices, which helped its extension and acceptance in the world . In addition, it has been accepted that the Abyss is a god that does not demand worship, so its rituals are more a way of praising life itself. to show that you can enjoy yourself even in bad times and that you don't go hungry. There are even those who say that the Abyss itself from time to time takes the skin of a mortal to sneak into the parties that are held in its name just to have fun Unlike many religions the cult does not have marriage rites and it is impossible to marry in the cult, that is why it is taken as a secondary religion since, Strange as it may seem, the cult encourages marriage and the union of people to enjoy life in company. Those who are part of the cult hate to be called worshippers of the void, even if they are the same being. because, although they are sides of the same coin, both cults have an opposite philosophy. They hate the cult of the void for staining the abyss with their thoughts that they must hasten the process of things returning to it
Gearli and his fall
It was a nascent city, with an enviable territory that could rival a small continent; it had emerged as multiple villages that slowly joined together and began to form a promising city, which is why other cities and nations approached them to make political treaties, but as soon as the negotiations began, the fall occurred.
Its fall was a catastrophe that went down in history. It all began with an eclipse that plunged the sky into absolute darkness, illuminated only by the two blood-red moons. Then came the fire, and in less than a few minutes, a gigantic monster appeared. It resembled nothing anyone had ever seen. It was a beast that easily occupied half the city, its height dwarfing mountains. Its features were grotesque; hundreds of human arms sprouted from its body, and what looked like mouths filled each limb. The enormous horns visible at first glance were made of splintered bones compressed upon themselves. Its body was almost... human, if viewed from afar, larger and quadrupedal, but still slightly human. And its movements... it was like a baby throwing a tantrum, throwing things and moving erratically. The attack was brief, and then the beast vanished completely without a trace. The beast caused immense destruction; the city fell, and tens of thousands of lives were lost. But amidst all the chaos, one figure stood out: a being completely encased in demonic-looking red armor that seemed to defy time, rescuing thousands from imminent death. When the beast's attack ended and it vanished, it was discovered that the red-armored hero was Syo, a diplomat who was there on political business. And so, the only currently known wielder of a tool of the Abyss, the gauntlet, was also revealed.
It's being said in bars that with Gearli's fall, the Abyss cloak appeared.
The Northern Kingdom
The Crygoliz kingdom or northern kingdom as all other kingdoms know it was a powerful kingdom that was devastated by an alliance of 3 enemy villages, they massacred the men and women who resisted and enslaved everyone else, except for Karei, the last soldier to fall, the poor woman lost sight of one of her eyes, a leg and an arm. They didn't even have the patience to train the slaves to ensure a dignified life, they simply sold them as fast as they could in the Drakorys bazaar, the former queen and princess have unknown whereabouts for all the former inhabitants of Crygoliz and that harms the former soldiers
Queen and Princess of Crygoliz
The queen and princess were bought by an acquaintance of Niko's, they are currently "missing" because they do not do flashy things and live quietly in some city with the man who bought them, being his wives, and having married him a couple of years after being bought and seeing that he genuinely had no bad intentions with them
Drakorys
Drakorys City is a huge city long ruled by the Dragon Empress, Artemis, descendants of Erikh, an ancient warrior who survived an encounter with the abyss and who was categorized as a "lesser superior" who are considered beings above gods although not at the level of the superior maximum that Braxel inhabits. The Abyss. Each dragon ruler has a similar thought, considering all those who do not belong to their lineage as inferior beings, although if they fall in love, even with their thought and despite being quite cold rulers, each empress has managed to preserve Drakorys even when it is only a city . The streets of Drakorys demonstrate its history and constant progress, Having repaired cars, vehicles from the old world, and reinvented them to move them with magic, although they are not as fast as the original models serve their purpose, carrying objects and facilitating internal trade between the upper city and the bazaar, the lower city, the streets are separated between lanes for cars and people, with lighting that works with magic and covers every necessary corner of the city. For 10 generations the city walls began to be considered more of a nuisance than a security measure so more gates were implemented, but since the new empress took power the city became more isolated and even declared war on Hades for its acceptance of different species as permanent inhabitants. she also encourages dragon hunting because she hates to be compared to them
The current dragon empress, Artemis, has also been the only one who has not managed to secure a successor to the throne, she created Zakro, her daughter, from a mold and the soul of a deceased which she emptied completely thanks to a deal with death but after an incident Zakro abandoned her right to the throne
Dragon Regents (Hecate)
Artemis's mother, Hecate, the dragon queen, was a dragon regent of Drakorys and the first to not have a mate during her time on the throne. Hecate was the daughter of the previous regent and her royal consort. She had a childhood filled with luxury and comfort, receiving strict instruction from her mother and loving care from her father. From her youth until she ascended the throne, she was known as "the Dragon Princess," and it was from this nickname that she took her title upon becoming queen. Hecate never had a royal consort due to an unfortunate incident. Before ascending the throne, she met Artemis's father, Raymond. For 80 years, they were a happy couple. Raymond, as he was called, was a simple soldier of the castle. Everyone who knew him considered him an extremely kind and prudent man, but his only regrettable trait was that he was humanβone of the few pure humans living on the surface. This was unfortunate because Hecate didn't inherit the throne until she was 80, a young age for her, but quite advanced for Raymond. Hecate was excited, and so was Raymond, but during the night of passion in which Artemis was conceived, Raymond died from the exertion. He was buried in the royal family cemetery of Drakorys, like all the other consorts of the previous rulers. Hecate mourned the loss of her beloved but had to go on; she had a city to govern and a daughter to raise. She was extremely strict with Artemis's teachings from an early age, and although she longed to spend time with her as her Raymond would have, she could not because of her responsibilities. Hecate spent much of her reign seeking to improve the situation of Drakorys and succeeded by increasing the acceptance of foreign products and by making housing in the bazaars for those who were previously rejected, but unfortunately the stress and the absence of her beloved took their toll and she died at the age of 284 before firmly establishing her plans.
Rovina and Messa
The Messa desert is a huge territory in the middle of Ether, due to the danger involved in walking on the desert sands, multiple underground trails were formed to avoid the surface and reach Rovina. Although the entire territory of Messa is quite large, there are very few settlements on the surface due to the presence of beasts and the little water that can be obtained, even so there are some individuals that live alone on the surface . The greatest threat in Messa are the death worms, huge elongated beings capable of submerging themselves in the sand and crushing rock as if it were nothing more than dust. they have little activity and do not chase a prey much but everyone fears them because of the ease with which they swim through the terrain and the ambushes they make. The city of Rovina is a city with a fairly wide economic relevance due to the bazaars that connect with multiple main roads that lead to other large cities The city is in a huge depression in the desert, with most of the structures built within the rocky walls, at the bottom of the city there are multiple buildings of great importance in the management of the city as well as one of the few universities of Ether, focused on magic and economics You can have a quiet life in Rovina thanks to several barriers created from a mask of the Abyss that There is around the city, in addition, thanks to the geography of the place the bottom of the depression is a field where you can plant some plants easily and they also have a small river that crosses the city and divides it into two parts joined by some bridges and paths in the walls, but as a measure against the cruel sun of the desert a tent is usually used at the entrance of the depression to Maintain some shade in the city.
University of the Holy Calamity (Kalammitos)
Named so because Rovina's depression was caused by a meteor impact with the university being the center of the explosion, it is a prestigious university for students who want to be magicians, teaching anyone with the resources to get in, regardless of race or background. There are only 2 ways to get to Kalammitos, the first is to pay the tuition, this being the most common way. And secondly, there is being accepted by ability; This requires you to have a natural affinity for magic or a high knowledge of economics, gifts worth exploiting and helping to flourish. Because of these requirements, along with a high cost of tuition, only the most important people from all nations study or send their children to study there. In Kalammitos it is evident that the species that are most present are humans, elves and half-blood dwarves although there are also some pure-blood elves and dwarves. The other species are less abundant but equally common, such as demons, half-blood angels, some vampires, etc., and in the background are the half-blooded demi-humans, because in Rovina slavery is allowed and they are the most common species to be taken and sold as slaves. Although inclusion is encouraged, it is true that the university focuses more on the quality of the results than on the state of its students, with some exceptions of course, which has led to semi-human students living quite poorly during their stay at the university. The university is based on the practice and training of magic, but also on economics because it is in Rovina, and its greatest pride is Reingel, the youngest and most powerful archmage that has ever existed and a former student of the university, currently a noble of Drakorys is following in his footsteps at the same university
Shiktu
The continent of Shiktu was part of what was known in the ancient world as Asia. It is the smallest of all the continents, full of mountainous areas, dense forests, and a culture deeply rooted in that of the ancient world. Therefore, the structures and clothing are quite similar to those found in Asia, more specifically in Japan and parts of China, as both countries united to create the continent of Shiktu. It is the continent most visited by merchants because of the rare objects they can find there. Although in the most visited part the culture has slowly begun to blend, there are still areas where almost nothing of their original culture has changed.
Pharlek
A continent characterized by its reddish grasses and flora, as well as its yellow earth, which has very little contact with the rest of the world, not only because of its apparent lack of development in terms of civilization but also because of the presence of the most dangerous beasts in the world, are creatures born from the abyss with anatomies that outside the continent would be impossible. Every creature in the place is considered equivalent to the mythical era shortly after the blackout, beings capable of destroying the world if the conditions are right, but fortunately they are in an environmental balance on the continent. People who "coexist" with beasts usually have tools from the abyss that allow them to face them, although there are some beings capable of facing them on their own, it is normal for it to be a group that defends itself from the occasional attack of beasts, hunting the most harmless for meat and always avoiding the largest if possible. The population of Pharlek is mainly made up of somewhat tribal villages and a single port town where some ships go to exchange meat from the beasts or the tools of the abyss that the natives find there for other things, such as sweets, seeds, fertilizers, or other tools to be able to study and replicate them since the tribes are quite conservative with their knowledge The mainland is a place where only two types of people go, who believe they have enough to fend for themselves there and who are willing to lose their lives to get something from the mainland, whether it's meat or ore from the abyss that seems to be generated out of nothing there.
Hydra
Known as the waterlogged continent, it is located at the southwestern end of the map, and its main characteristic is the abundance of rivers that occupy a large part of the continent. There are few towns in Hydrae, the largest being the port city of Nerea. In Hydrae, much of the terrain is swampy biome, including flooded savannas, although most of it is surrounded by dense forests and jungles. There are also some savannas in the southeastern area of the continent. In the far northeast, closest to the continent of Ether, is the city of Nerea. According to legends, the rise of the continent occurred when a huge chunk of the seabed broke off the ground and emerged to the surface after the fall of Braxel. It is considered the most recent continent because there are no remains of civilizations from the ancient world. Most of the cultures of Hydrae are tribal, with the exception of Nerea, who adopted the culture of Ether.
Reuzla
Also known as the fragmented continent, it is located in the northwestern corner of the map and its main characteristic is that much of its territory is submerged in water. It is a difficult terrain because large ships cannot pass between the islands due to the shallow waters. The inhabitants of Reuzla have become completely accustomed to their environment, using small boats to move between islands and learning how to coexist with and deal with the creatures that inhabit the shallow waters of the mainland. Reuzla is home to unique creatures due to its terrain with shallow waters and nutrient-rich soil that fostered the evolution of plants adapted to aquatic life, making them more resilient than animals and beasts, even being able to defend themselves in various ways, such as poison or, in the case of the most developed plant species, directly attacking anyone who approaches. The continent arose from the remnants of multiple ancient world continents that merged and were later partially submerged when sea levels rose, and because of this, Reuzla's culture is based entirely on its environment and not on ancient world traditions.
Cities of Reuzla
All of Reuzla is considered part of a single region. Trade with the outer islands is quite slow due to the distance between them, but good deals are always possible and worthwhile. If someone is carrying important or high-value merchandise, or if they are a person deemed worthy by the dragon community, they can take the goods directly to the central island for faster and more efficient trade. Afterward, the goods are transported between islands by ship.
