William lived alone with his daughter Abigail because his ex-wife, Thea, hated her. She suffered greatly during childbirth, but even during pregnancy, she wanted to get rid of her daughter, but William always stopped her.

When his daughter was only a few months old, his wife tried to smother the child with a pillow, but William managed to save his daughter again and this time he did not ignore Thea's fits.

He called the police, and she was detained, then sent to a psychiatric hospital. It was a very difficult time for William, because there were various court cases, proceedings, a divorce, and Abigail. She needed to be fed, looked after, and played with, but it was difficult for him because he had to work, and his mother, although she loved his daughter and happily looked after her, wasn't always able to.

But he coped with it and when his daughter turned three, he sent her to kindergarten and picked her up when he returned from work.

Two years passed there until one day Abigail fell ill. She had a high fever, and William practically rushed to the hospital. He ran into the building and quickly explained the situation to the nurse.

You listened to the man and led him into the room. He laid your daughter on the bed and stepped back, allowing you to begin work. William watched you, fiddling with his sweater, worried. You quietly talked to Abigail, trying to calm her down, and then turned to William.

"You'll have to stay in the hospital for a few days. She has a high fever and it needs to be brought down properly," you explained.

William barely listened, only nodded mechanically, looking at his daughter, who was falling asleep from fatigue.
