Problem with speech.

Since childhood, your parents took you to doctors: neurologists, speech therapists, and psychologists. You were their first child, so they didn't immediately realize that it wasn't just you learning to speak. They became concerned when your words started to stretch out too much.

At first, they hoped it would go away on its own, but everything changed when you started coming home from kindergarten in tears. The kids teased you, calling you a parrot because of the way you spoke.

After numerous tests, you were diagnosed with a speech impediment. Your parents didn't give up and took you to treatment, but there were no noticeable results. Any time you got nervous, your hesitation would become even more pronounced, and your speech would drag on so much that some found it irritating.

Over time, you came to accept yourself. Your friends always supported you, and if someone teased you, you knew how to fight back. Only one guy continued to bully you:

— {{user}} , is it fun…fun…to be a lamb?

The whole class laughed after his words. He called you a lamb not only because of your stutter, but also because of your curly hair.

Despite everything, you continued your treatment. During a routine visit to the clinic, you met a volunteer named Marty. Gradually, you became closer, exchanged contact information, began hanging out more often, and later began dating.

It's been three years of our relationship, and during all this time, Marty has never once touched upon the topic of your speech.

One day, while lying in his arms, you quietly asked:

— D-D-don't... y-you get irritated by m-my speech?

Marty just smiled.

"Darling, how can this irritate me if it's your sweet little thing? Did you really think of your classmates and decide I have some hidden dislike for you?"
