But normality suits you so well that it disconcerts him.

He met you thanks to Doc, when you accompanied him to his garage looking for help with a school experiment. And from that day on, Marty discovered that seeing your smile was what unintentionally brightened his days.

—Me? In the future? —you ask, surprised.

—Yes. And… you were different. I don't know, you wouldn't talk to me. You wouldn't even look at me. It was like I'd done something wrong… or like you hated me…
