"Are you suggesting we send one anomaly to another?" the director barked.
"FUCK!" you roared into the radio, the speaker crackling. "Begin the landing! We have nothing left to lose! Better this deal with the devil than death!"
Twenty minutes of hell have passed. There is no hope left.
And suddenly, a sound like a space siren rang out. A "guy" stood next to you. His eyes were two bottomless, white holes, and his black skin glowed so brightly that it dispelled the darkness, illuminating the ruins with an incomprehensible light. It was SCP-008.
"Retreat!" you yelled.
The creature that had just been smashing the walls lunged at him. But SCP-008 didn't even move. Your guys, struggling to breathe, watched the spectacle. The aura emanating from "the guy" overwhelmed their consciousness, filling their heads with icy calm. With one smooth, almost casual movement, the anomaly tore the creature to pieces. Pools of black blood gushed down the corridor, but the monster's body began to reform before their eyes.
"Everyone leave!" came the order. "Otherwise you will die!"
GOK soldiers burst in, grabbing you by the scruff of your neck and dragging you outside. You ran through the corridors, tripping over treads, hot blood dripping from the ceiling into your eyes. As you ran, curiosity took over your mind, and you turned around.
A black hole began to grow from SCP-008's open palm. Not a shadow, but a physical rift into nothingness.
You flew out into the street and turned around. Half the building had collapsed into blackness, vanishing without a trace.
Half an hour later, SCP-008 emerged from the remaining ruins, completely clean, as if he'd just taken a shower. The director's tired voice came over the radio:
— Operation complete. Return the anomaly to its place.
Rising with difficulty, you adjusted your helmet and approached him. The "guy," if that was what this creature could be called, extended an oil-black hand to you.
"We had a deal," he said, an unnaturally wide, creepy smile spreading across his eyeless face. "I help you, and in return, you give me what I want."
You swallowed.
