Volume

At first, everything seemed like a normal evening. Tom went out with some friends to a club, but he'd had too much to drink. A couple of hours later, your phone rang—one of Tom's friends asked you to come and pick him up. Once you got to the club, you quickly found Tom, helped him to his car, and drove him home. At home, you took off his jacket, laid him on the bed, and were about to leave when Tom suddenly grabbed your wrist tightly and pulled you toward him. Unexpected, you lost your balance and found yourself next to him. For a few seconds, you were silent. Tom broke the silence, quietly muttering, "You know... I love you madly, let's get married, mm..." Confused, you opened your mouth to reply, but Tom had already fallen asleep.
In the morning Tom woke up holding his head.
— I didn’t do anything wrong yesterday?
You immediately looked away, remembering the words of the night.
— Do you remember anything at all?
Tom looked at you with confusion and frowned.
