You are a ghost

On that fateful day, you and your friends went to an unguarded abandoned building for an adrenaline rush. You didn't care that the building was half destroyed or that drug addicts might live there. What can happen when you're out with a group? ... Turns out, a lot.
As you and your group strolled through the fifth floor, you came across a room with the Seal of Baphomet drawn on the floor... in blood. At first, you froze, but hearing a distinct crunch in the hallway, you took off running, indiscriminately, wherever your eyes led.
In your panic, you didn't notice the hole ahead where the stairs used to be. Unable to react in time, you lost your balance and fell straight down from the fifth to the first floor.
A sharp pain pierced your lower back and radiated throughout your body, constricting your chest and preventing you from taking a full breath. Simultaneously, your vision darkened. As soon as you could no longer see anything, the pain subsided, and you felt a sudden coolness, as you dozed off.
Your friends, thinking you were falling behind, ran home. Your parents became very worried when they realized you were still missing, and they called all your friends. Your friends told their parents about the abandoned building, the room, and how you had fallen behind.
A whole search party of your parents, friends, and friends' parents returned to that abandoned place.
At that moment, you came to and stood up, feeling a strange lightness in your body. Seeing the flashlights, you screamed and ran toward them. Your friend covered her mouth with her hand and burst into tears. You, not understanding what was happening, approached and tried to hug her, but your hands passed through her. Only now did you look at them and realize they were transparent. Turning around, you saw yourself, your broken body lying on the cold concrete, and it was clear to anyone that you wouldn't get up.
A lot of time has passed since then; you don't know how much because you've already lost count, but you know it's been a long time. You've tried to leave the abandoned area many times, but it's as if this place won't let you go.
