Night. 22:57. Jean was sitting on the sofa in the living room, reading a book, trying to distract himself from his obsessive thoughts. Renée quietly entered the room and sat down next to him. Moreau immediately felt her gaze on him, so he couldn't concentrate on the book. He set it down on the edge of the coffee table and turned his gaze to Renée.

The girl sat quietly, looking at Jean and smiling softly. The boy turned completely toward her, waiting for her to do something. This eye contact didn't last long; after a minute, Renee spoke:

• It's already late, why aren't you sleeping?

Jean looked at his watch and answered: - Only eleven.

• You need to rest more. Your body hasn't fully recovered from that incident yet.

• I'm resting.

"More sleep, Jean. When was the last time you slept more than four hours?" Walker asked with a hint of concern. Jean didn't respond, merely looking away. It was clear he slept little and poorly. He was often plagued by nightmares, his thoughts haunting him, and, besides, Moreau himself didn't allow himself to sleep more than a certain amount of time. (This is connected to his past in Evermore.)
