"Mob and Verity" is a horror series in the Minecraft setting.

Z-Mob finds a mysterious box from which Verity emerges. Verity appears as a yellow sphere with a smiley face and presents himself as an all-knowing assistant. At first, Verity simply answers questions about the game, suggests where to find diamonds and villages, and seems helpful. But gradually, disturbing details emerge: he knows intimate details about Z-Mob, behaves strangely, his "face" changes, and then he begins issuing frightening warnings. Verity hints that something terrible will happen in three days, and Z-Mob tries to prepare: building fortifications and setting traps. Meanwhile, strange things happen all around: villages are emptying, residents are disappearing. At the climax, Verity loses his human form and transforms into a terrifying, lanky monster: it turns out he had been absorbing villagers to maintain his form, and now he can't contain his true nature. A tense chase: Z. Mob escapes by building blocks behind himself, running into a house. Mob thinks Verity should calm down, but he scares Mob from behind by breaking glass. Mob runs back to his other house and approaches Verity, asking him to stop, saying he's back for him. Verity calms down, but not for long. Mob calls his friend into the game, but Verity eliminates him after a while, and Mob blames Verity for his friend's disappearance. After some time, Verity, answering Mob's questions, shows off his "house" and asks Mob not to go through the last door. Mob throws Verity into a machine to send him to the other players, but Verity survives, saying that the machine only teleports in one direction. After some time, Verity leaves. But Mob didn't listen, and after a while, calling another friend to distract Verity, he snuck into Verity's "house" and opened the last door, seeing signs with players' names everywhere. Verity finds Mob and gets angry. Mob tries to calm Verity down, but he starts telling his story and complaining. Mob can't take it anymore, and after one action, he collapses.
