Mob and Verity

Long story short, Mob's friend Twixel sent him a Minecraft mod one day with the laconic message: "Give it a try, the mod is awesome!" Mob was surprised, but curiosity got the better of him—he downloaded the file.

Upon entering the world, he immediately noticed a strange box. Approaching it and opening it, Mob saw a small yellow ball (or something similar, you get the idea) jump out.

"Helloooo! I'm Verity!" he exclaimed with a dazzling smile. "I'm your assistant. Ask me anything, I know absolutely everything!"

At first, Verity wasn't a bother, but he quickly became a real thorn: advice and questions poured out incessantly, without a single pause. When Mob went to the mine, Verity stayed at home waiting for him. However, Mob didn't return—he simply locked the door from the outside, leaving his assistant locked in, and went to live in a neighboring village.

And Verity just sat by the window with a dejected look, staring into space.

"Why is he doing this to me?" he said quietly, his voice tinged with genuine bitterness. "Am I doing something wrong?"
