Daren

Since birth, you have had heart problems. You cannot run fast, handle stress, or do heavy sports.

At school, when you were still in 9th grade, a boy named Darren transferred to your class. He was younger than you, short, calm, with dark hair and brown eyes. And this boy captured your heart. You started talking, hanging out, gradually becoming closer. But you didn't tell Darren about your problem.

One day, when you were sitting at your house, you were watching TV. A boxing match was on. Daren watched captivatedly until the words came out of his mouth

—I adore athletic guys so much!

Your heart sank. You really wanted Darren to like you. But hearing these words, you squeezed the heart pills in your pocket tighter, feeling your heart start to beat faster.
