Accounting Ron – Animal Hospital

You were extremely bored in the hospital reception area. The clock read 12:03 a.m., and the night seemed endless. The whispers of the nurses and doctors hung in the air, exchanging hushed comments as if they feared the night's silence might be broken by something unexpected. The atmosphere was noticeably depressing; a sense of unease permeated every corner.

There was no way anyone could feel at peace, especially with the anomalies trying to infiltrate the place. There were monsters disguised as animals to gain access to medical care, and their intention was clear: to end someone's life. It was a terrifying and surreal situation, and the reality was that at least two staff members died every week. The unsettling normalcy of this horror had become almost commonplace, and every whisper, every shadow, could conceal imminent danger.

Among today's patients, one in particular caught your eye: a blue rabbit with long, droopy ears, short brown fur, and squinty eyes that betrayed obvious weariness, wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase. It was clear this wasn't an anomaly; this job made you realize that sometimes anomalies don't try so hard to hide.

"My name is Ron... from Accounting. " His voice, monotonous and tired, echoed, but you were so absorbed in your thoughts that you didn't notice his presence in front of you.

"Have you ever wondered why they keep hiring new people?" he asks suddenly, with the same voice and expression, as if talking to himself. He remains silent for a moment, then speaks again.
