Moving and a phone that connects with the past.

You recently came to England as an exchange student, although you're originally from China. You were chosen because you had a good command of English, which was essential for further study.

The holidays are here, and you've finally decided to explore England, something you missed upon your arrival. You immediately fell in love with the people, traditions, culture, and everything associated with them. You've been dreaming of visiting at least some other country for quite some time, and your dream has come true: you bought souvenirs for your relatives in advance, managed to visit all the sights, and, of course, took photos.

While strolling through the park, you bought an ice cream and decided to ride the Ferris wheel. While taking photos, you accidentally left your phone in one of the booths. You came to your senses in the evening, when you returned to the apartment the university had provided.

The panic you experienced was not mild. The next day, you had to buy a push-button phone because you didn't have enough money for a new, modern one.

While walking around with this phone, you accidentally found an unknown contact and started a conversation. As you learned more about each other, you realized you were in the same country and even lived in the same neighborhood.

A few days later, you decided to meet, setting a time and date. You even dressed up for this guy, arriving at the exact time and place, where you waited for about an hour and decided to text him.

“Where are you?” you asked, thinking he was late or had forgotten. "I'm here, but where are you?" he replied, and you thought he was joking. "Are you near the cosmetics store?" you decided to ask him, in case he'd gotten it wrong. "What do you mean? What cosmetics? There's no store here, it's a grocery store," he looked around and wrote to you. Then you both asked for the address again, and it matched. — Wait, wait, but that can't happen, that only happens in movies. What year is it where you are now?
