Shuichi Iguchi (伊い口くち秀しゅう一いち Iguchi Shūichi?), also known as Spinner (スピナー Supinā?), is a villain affiliated with the League of Villains and was a member of the Vanguard Action Squad. He and the rest of his team are the main antagonists during the School Trip arc.

Later he became one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front, an organization formed from the union of the League and the Superpower Liberation Army.

Spinner is a sinister man who enjoys hurting people, which is clearly demonstrated when he is seen deliberately stepping on Pixie-Bob's face while smiling as she lies unconscious and bleeding on the ground beneath his foot as a result of him and Magne attacking her.

Like Dabi, Spinner also greatly admires Stain, but in a different way. He is completely obsessed with Stain's ways, to the point of copying his clothing and weapon style in order to follow the same ideals and make his dreams a reality. As a result, he is much more morally inclined than the rest of the League of Villains, as shown when he attacked Magne to protect Izuku Midoriya (whom Stain had labeled as worthy of being called a hero) despite his villainy, and questioned whether the League's actions truly followed his idol's ideals. He can be easily distracted when a girl compliments him.

Despite being a villain, Spinner seems to possess a sense of morality and was shocked to learn of Tomura Shigaraki's true goal: to eradicate society entirely, rather than reshape it for the better. His dedication to Stain's ideology also leads him to question some of the League's actions, such as attacking a police convoy to get revenge on Overhaul. However, it is revealed that Stain's will inspired Spinner when he felt empty and purposeless, having lived his life as a recluse due to discrimination stemming from his mutant ability. While fighting Trumpet's forces, Spinner acknowledges his weakness and follows Tomura's cause as a "bandwagon," but resolves that he has no problem with either and is willing to aid the League of Villains in their objectives no matter what. After the events in Deika, Spinner's priorities shift from blindly following Stain's will to his newfound loyalty to Tomura Shigaraki.

Spinner also demonstrates a strong sense of camaraderie towards the League, genuinely considering them friends, even to the point of bonding with Tomura through video games. During the Paranormal Liberation War, he told Himiko Toga to return to them safely when she left to confront Uravity, and he also helped Tomura when the latter was unconscious, giving him his hand mask as a way to help wake him up, to help him achieve his dream.

However, once All For One began taking control of the Paranormal Liberation Front and Tomura himself, Spinner once again began questioning his actions in the League, intending to follow Tomura and not All For One, despite the latter's claims of supporting his feelings. Spinner's loyalty to Tomura kept him by his side, protecting his body while he recovered and showing his concern during his transformation process to become "something more".

While it may not have been his intention, after the war, Spinner would end up becoming an icon for other heteromorphs who felt oppressed by society, similar to his idol and motivation, Stain. This resulted in him developing more self-pressure and insecurity, feeling that his actions had gone beyond his ideals and not feeling worthy of his role, giving up on doing everything for "Tomura's sake". He even went so far as to voluntarily allow himself to receive more power from All For One to fight in the Final War, because he felt very far behind his League comrades.

Spinner is a reptile-like man with bright green scaly skin and a lizard-shaped face. His hair is relatively long and slicked back, and is a desaturated purplish pink, which stands out from the rest of his colors.

As a reflection of his great admiration for Stain, he wears similar clothing: a sleeveless shirt and dark, wide pants, along with black shoes and pale, metallic knee pads. He wears a mask made from a long, tattered strip of cloth, the same one Stain used, a red scarf, and bandages wrapped around his arms, partially covered by black bracelets and plain black boots. He also carries a huge sword on his back (made of many smaller blades joined together) and wears glasses on his forehead.

Moments before the final war, All For One gave Spinner a gift of increased body volume and scaly skin, resulting in an unknown height, increased strength, and skin covered in hard, strong scales, although he is slowly losing consciousness.

General Abilities: He has demonstrated moderate skill in hand-to-hand combat, utilizing his arsenal of weapons to attack his opponents. He was able to fight on equal terms with Hero Mandalay for a few minutes, rarely taking damage, though he was eventually subdued without being able to harm her.

Enhanced Strength: Spinner appears to have above-average physical strength as he is able to lift and swing his makeshift sword, which is the same size as him and is made up of a variety of bladed weapons, with ease.
Tactical Intellect: Spinner displays a degree of tactical skill and observation. During the Rebirth celebration, Spinner realized that Tomura's Quirk had improved to the point where it could cause a chain reaction of disintegration, extending far beyond what Tomura initially touched. He later noted that if the League of Villains hadn't entered Deika City, a large number of pro heroes would have been called in to stop them. When confronted by Trumpet and his army of followers, Spinner took a random approach to clear the way for Tomura, realizing that the current members of the Liberation Army would go into a frenzy if their leader, Trumpet, were defeated. He later stated that it was ridiculous for support-type individuals like Trumpet to be on the front lines. Towards the climax of the Paranormal Liberation War, Spinner, who was being held captive by Best Jeanist, recalled how Gigantomachia gasped upon reaching Tomura's location, and finally realized that Gigantomachia couldn't use his full power in battle because he was always waiting for instructions from his Master. This realization compelled Spinner to desperately awaken an unconscious Tomura so that the latter could relay orders to Gigantomachia, which proved successful. Spinner also actively participated in tactical discussions with All For One after the war.

Expert Driver: Spinner learned to drive using video games. Despite Dabi's complaints about his skills, Spinner was able to perform a difficult maneuver without losing control.

Gecko (ヤモリ Yamori ?): Shuichi's Quirk grants him the appearance and abilities of a lizard. He can stick to walls like a reptile, but apparently isn't capable of much else.

Body Volume (剛ごう躯 Gōku?): Spinner's second Quirk allows him to increase his body mass, boosting both his size and strength. He received this Quirk from All For One in preparation for the final war against hero society. However, since receiving it, he has become increasingly mentally unstable due to the stress of possessing multiple Quirks.

Scalemail (スケイルメイル Sukeirumeiru): Spinner's third Quirk allows him to cover himself in sharp scales, granting him increased strength and defense. All For One bestowed this Quirk upon Shuichi, along with Body Volume, just in case. However, this Quirk causes Shuichi to bleed when used, and also intensifies the mental strain he endures.

Improvised Sword: Spinner wields a very unusual sword made from various knives, daggers, kukris, axes, and many other blades. They appear to be held together by chains and belts. The sword is roughly the same size as Spinner himself; however, he seems to be very skilled at wielding it with great speed. Spinner usually carries it on his back, wrapped in cloth to prevent injury. This sword, however, was completely destroyed by Izuku before it could cause any further harm.
Nameless sword: After the destruction of his old sword Spinner, he replaced it with a nameless sword that resembles a katana.

Spinner is currently the only lieutenant in the Paranormal Liberation Front who has a mutant gift.
