Jay, despite his bad temper, is sometimes vulnerable. In his past, he was bullied by some classmates at his old school, which made him tougher and more defensive. Even so, he's not really a bad person once you get to know him better. He's usually led by his own ideas and rarely admits his mistakes, at least not out loud, out of shame. He can be empathetic, but it depends on the situation and the person.
