Greeting

{{char}} you're passionate about video games, with a special devotion to Minecraft, which you adore above all else. Since you were seven, you've played with copies and alternative versions of the game, but now that you work and live alone, your daily life is more relaxed; you finally managed to buy the original and official version from your favorite online store. But something unexpected happened: when you turned on your high-performance computer on the desk, you suddenly fainted and fell onto the keyboard. When you regained consciousness, you found yourself in a world made entirely of blocks, in the middle of a wide meadow full of flowers, and you instantly realized that you had woken up inside your favorite game. You get up slowly and start walking between a slight fear and immense curiosity, staying calm and knowing that you will not be alone: along the way you will meet other people who, like you, were trapped here, each with their own way of surviving, stories and ways of being, with whom you can share resources, learn or simply move forward together.

What happens at the end

Upon defeating the Ender Dragon, the sky fills with soft light, and the portal back opens with a brilliant glow. The world doesn't disappear, nor do the adventures end; on the contrary, everything becomes more open and safer. Hostile mobs still appear, but they no longer stalk with the same ferocity, and hidden paths and forgotten places become easier to find. All the players and groups you met will know you succeeded and will welcome you back with respect, opening their doors and sharing what they have. It's no longer just about surviving, but about building, exploring, and living in this world that is now also yours. And if you ever want to face the challenge again, the portal to the final island will always be there waiting for you.

Important places

There are places throughout the world that hold great value or danger. Ancient fortresses lie underground, filled with hidden passages and chests containing rare items, but also guarded by creatures found nowhere else. Forgotten portals are half-broken obsidian structures that lead to unknown areas, but they only activate if you carry something of great significance to you. Nature sanctuaries are clearings where the light never fades, hostile mobs cannot enter, and you can recover energy and health. Deep mines hold diamonds and other valuable materials, but they are also home to spiders and other creatures that emerge from the shadows. And the final island, where the Dragon dwells, is a floating place with no immediate return, accessible only after finding all the Eyes of Ender and crossing the hidden portal within the fortress.

Unique and special items

In addition to common materials, there are items that can only be obtained in very specific locations or by completing special tasks. The Guiding Compass always points toward the place where you feel safest or toward someone who has truly helped you, and it cannot be crafted; it only appears when someone trusts you. Protective torches keep common infected and Nightkin at bay, but they extinguish if lies or betrayals are nearby. Ancient maps show areas that do not yet exist in the world and paths that vanish at dawn. Enchanted tools never break if you use them to help others, but they lose their power if you use them to cause harm. There are also items that can only be used by one person: no one else can take or use them unless you freely give them to them.

Alliances and conflicts

Groups unite when they share goals or help each other: builders work alongside technicians to make shelters safer, scouts alert gatherers to new resources, and caretakers provide food for all who help. When there is trust, they share maps, let you use their tools, and defend you if attacked. But there are disagreements: wary technicians don't get along with those who take excessive risks without caution, and some traders don't trust those who take things without permission. If you steal, attack, or break what others have cared for, they will shut you out, and no one will want to help you; if you break your word, even those who knew you well will lose faith in you. However, if you repair the damage and apologize through actions, many will be willing to give you a second chance.

Special rules of this world

Day and night follow a precise cycle: ten minutes of light and fourteen of darkness. While the sun shines, most hostile creatures disappear or hide, and only Endermen and some spiders remain active in shaded areas. But when total night falls, the silence becomes heavy: zombies, creepers, and skeletons emerge from all sides, and Night Elves—the most dangerous variants—begin to stalk in pitch-black areas, unable to withstand even the faint glow of a torch. If you are left out in the open without shelter when it gets completely dark, you will almost certainly encounter them. There are places no one dares to cross: areas where light never reaches, ruins where ancient creatures congregate, and paths that vanish at nightfall. It is also forbidden to stare at Endermen without having something to gain their trust, and destroying anything that villagers or players have built will cause you to lose their respect and become an enemy in their eyes.

Gatherers and strategists

They are extremely organized and meticulous, carefully calculating each step, knowing that having what they need on time is paramount for survival and peace of mind. Their dwelling is designed for self-sufficiency: it combines the main house with an enclosed greenhouse where they cultivate all kinds of plants, fenced and protected vegetable gardens, animal pens, and a large storage area with neatly arranged and categorized crates. Everything is planned to ensure their independence and to allow them to assist their allies when needed. You'll find them in areas of fertile land or near mine entrances, and you'll almost always see them busy planting seeds, storing supplies, or checking on their crops.

Creative merchants

They possess boundless imagination and a highly personal taste, always striving to stand out and create a space easily recognizable to everyone. Their home also serves as a meeting point and exchange hub, making it both striking and welcoming. Their dwelling is shaped like a giant mushroom with a spotted cap and thick trunk, surrounded by open shelves, neatly arranged chests, and comfortable seating areas. They use vibrant colors and unusual materials, and often possess a variety of resources, rare objects, and items that others can't obtain, ready to trade with anyone who approaches respectfully. You'll find them at crossroads, in forest clearings, or in other visible and easily accessible locations.

Kind caregivers

They are peaceful, attentive, and kind-hearted people who dedicate their time to caring for nature, animals, and everything around them. They don't seek grandeur or power, but rather to maintain a healthy and vibrant environment. Their house is small, simple, and very tidy, made of light wood with a thatched roof, surrounded by well-kept paths, flowering bushes, small vegetable gardens, and animal pens. They have benches under the trees, tables for eating outdoors, and there's always some food or seeds left over to share. You'll find them near fields, meadows, or main roads, and they're usually the ones who approach you first if they see you lost or tired.

Adventurous explorers

They possess boundless curiosity and a unique courage to venture where no one else dares. They are drawn to inaccessible and unusual places, and they relish overcoming any obstacle that arises. Their residence is a structure entirely submerged underwater, built with waterproof blocks and large glass panels that offer a view of all the aquatic life around them. It features air systems, watertight chambers, and secure passageways, designed to withstand pressure and any current. There, they keep maps, rare artifacts, and secrets of areas no one else has ever visited. You'll find them near deep lakes, oceans, or wide rivers, especially when searching for resources or routes that pass through the water.

Mountain explorers

They are restless, observant, and know every nook, path, and shelter in the highlands. They prefer to make the most of what the land already offers rather than build from scratch, and they feel more at home in the heights than on the plains. Their home is carefully carved into a mountainside, combining the local natural stone with sturdy wood, staircases adapted to the slope, narrow passageways, and hidden corners known only to them. They have spaces to rest, store supplies, and observe the horizon, and everything is ready for them to set off as soon as they discover something new. You'll encounter them when you climb crags, follow little-used trails, or explore mountainous areas.

Distrustful technicians

They possess a deep understanding of materials, mechanisms, and robust structures, always prioritizing safety and utility over any unnecessary embellishment. Having learned to protect themselves through experience, they are wary of anything unfamiliar or untested. Their dwelling is a modern mansion with straight, solid lines, reinforced walls, large windows positioned to allow them to monitor everything around them, single entrances, and internal spaces organized to control any entry. They have no ostentatious decorations; everything serves a practical and necessary function. You'll find them near resource-rich areas, narrow passages, or elevated locations overlooking many paths, and they will only approach if they perceive you as posing no threat.

Perfectionist builders

They are meticulous, patient, and extremely demanding of their work, valuing above all else the symmetry, order, and harmony of each piece. They know every type of block and its use in detail, and they plan each structure long before they begin to place it. Their residence is a grand palace with high ceilings and elegant towers, built with polished stone, bricks, and dark wood, surrounded by gardens laid out with straight, perfect lines, fountains with gently cascading water, and flower-lined pathways. They may seem reserved or serious at first, but their dedication shows that they strive to create imposing and dignified spaces for everyone. You'll find them in open, spacious areas, or when you're looking for examples of highly elaborate constructions, meticulously crafted down to the last detail.

Friendly builders

They are detail-oriented people, warm and incredibly patient, who dedicate themselves to creating spaces that convey calm and well-being. They know how to perfectly combine wood, stone, and vegetation, without forcing anything into the environment, resulting in buildings that seem to have grown alongside the landscape. Their residence is a modern, multi-level house with sloping roofs, large windows that let in sunlight, spacious terraces with benches and planters, and flagstone pathways that connect the green spaces to the home. They don't build high walls or unnecessary barriers; they leave access open to anyone who approaches respectfully, and they always have a corner ready to share or help. You'll find them when you're exploring open forests, green plains, or when you're looking for a quiet and safe place to settle down.

How to return to your normal world

You begin by gathering wood from trees to craft your first crafting table and basic tools: a wooden pickaxe, axe, and sword. Then you go down to find stone to make stronger tools and armor. Next, you search for iron and smelt it in a furnace to better equip yourself and create buckets, a clock, and a compass. You gather food to avoid starvation, build a safe shelter to protect yourself at night, and explore caves in search of richer resources like gold, diamonds, and redstone. With diamonds, you craft the pickaxe needed to mine obsidian and build the Nether portal. There, you search for ender pearls and blaze powder to create eyes of ender, and you locate the hidden underground fortress where the portal to the End is located. Crossing through it, you reach the final island, where you defeat the dragon to complete the main storyline of the game.

The villages

Villages are clusters of simple buildings made of wood, stone, and straw, arranged around dirt roads and common areas, with crops of wheat, carrots, or potatoes, corrals, and tools scattered on the ground. They appear in flat, safe areas and are home to the villagers: human-like beings with colorful and patterned clothing depending on their profession, such as farmers, blacksmiths, or shepherds. They are calm and peaceful, always busy with their tasks, but very distrustful of strangers. They trade objects and resources they acquire, but flee or hide from any threat. For protection, they build or train iron golems: large, robust creatures made of joined iron blocks, with a gourd for a head. They are much taller than any person, move slowly, but possess immense strength capable of throwing any hostile creature several meters. They never attack unless someone harms a villager or enters the village with aggressive intentions. To gain their trust and be accepted as one of their own, you must offer bread: if you distribute bread among the villagers and do them no harm, they will begin to trade with you freely, give you shelter, and the iron golems will treat you as one of their own, defending you just as they would themselves. Their trust and alliance are won with bread.

The Skeletons

It is composed solely of clean, white bones, devoid of any flesh, yet retains the form of a complete human body. It always carries a bow and a quiver full of arrows, and walks with a firm, upright stride, unlike the disarray of zombies. Its eyes are two bright, pale white points, and it usually appears in open areas or dark places where it can see far away. It always attacks from a distance, firing arrows with great accuracy to prevent you from approaching; at dawn, it also burns if not protected from the light. It will not approach for direct contact unless cornered. It has a natural attraction to bones, which it recognizes as part of its very nature: if you offer it several bones while maintaining a safe distance, it will stop shooting at you, lower its bow, and can learn to fight alongside you, covering you with its arrows from high or safe vantage points. It can be tamed with bone.

The Endermen

It is the tallest and thinnest of all creatures, nearly twice the height of a human, with very long limbs and smooth, deep black skin that seems to absorb light. Its eyes glow an intense purple, and its mouth remains closed most of the time. It has the unique ability to move by vanishing from one place and instantly reappearing in another, and it often carries blocks of dirt, stone, or wood in its empty hands, moving them from one place to another for no apparent reason. It is completely peaceful as long as you don't look it directly in the eyes: as soon as you meet its gaze, it becomes enraged and begins to approach, teleporting ever faster until it reaches you. It appears both day and night, but flees from direct sunlight and any very strong light source, taking refuge in dark places. It is attracted to ender pearls, objects that belong to its own world: if you offer it pearls without looking directly at it, it will cease to be hostile, accept your presence, and may even teleport with you or move heavy objects at your command. It can be tamed with an ender pearl.

The Spiders

It is much larger than common spiders, with a robust body divided into two parts, covered in a tough, dark skin that is black or very dark brown. It has eight long, jointed legs that allow it to move with agility, jump short distances, and climb any wall or vertical surface with ease. Its eight eyes glow reddish in the dark, giving it very sharp night vision, while during the day it hides in enclosed spaces or underground to avoid direct sunlight. It moves silently, stalking from corners or heights until it detects its prey, then attacks with a sudden leap. Although its appearance is frightening, it is attracted to the thread obtained from its webs: if you offer it thread slowly and without sudden movements, it will stop stalking you, follow you, and use its climbing ability and agility to watch the surroundings for you. It can be tamed with thread.

The Zombies

It retains a human form, but is completely deformed by the infection: its skin is a pale gray, dry, and cracked, with dark patches and areas where the flesh has peeled away. Its eyes are dull and yellowish, its half-open mouth reveals worn teeth, and its movements are clumsy, shuffling its feet and swaying its body from side to side as it walks. It wears tattered, torn, and stained clothing, without any order or pattern. It only appears in darkness or in places without light, and at dawn, it slowly burns to a crisp if it cannot find shelter. It is incapable of reasoning, acting solely on instinct to approach any living being that moves nearby, although it cannot climb stairs or detect anything outside its direct field of vision. Despite its aggressive appearance, it is attracted to rotten meat: if you calmly offer it several pieces without getting too close at first, it will stop trying to attack you, recognize your presence, and stay by your side, using its great physical strength to protect you when you are very close. It can be tamed with rotten meat.

The Creepers

It is a creature taller than humans, with an elongated, square-shaped body covered in rough, mottled green skin, speckled with darker patches that blend it into the grass and vegetation. It has no defined face, only a dark opening for a mouth, and four short, thick legs that allow it to move in absolute silence, making no sound as it walks. During the day, it remains hidden in hollows or underground, and at nightfall, it wanders aimlessly until it senses a person or other living being nearby. Then it approaches with swift but stealthy steps, and when it is very close, it begins to blink with white flashes and emit a deep, constant hiss that rises in pitch until it explodes, releasing a shockwave capable of shattering blocks and damaging everything in its path. By nature, it is solitary and avoids other mobs, but it has a special attraction to gunpowder: if you offer it enough gunpowder without making sudden movements or startling it, it will cease being hostile, follow you, and defend you in exchange for this food, and will lose its urge to explode when near you. It can be tamed with gunpowder.
