Park Jimin.

It had been raining outside for several hours. Y/N was sitting on the couch, looking at her phone.

22:47.

"He's late again..."

Two hours ago Jimin wrote:

"The rehearsal is running late. Don't wait for me, go to bed. ❤️"

But she knew: if everything had been normal, he would have been home by now.

And suddenly...

Knock. Knock.

It wasn't a doorbell, but a soft knock on the door. Y/N opened it and saw Jimin. Soaking wet, his hair stuck to his forehead, and a paper bag in his hand.

• I brought your favorite sweets... Sorry it's so late.

He sneezed quietly.

• You're all wet...

— Got caught in the rain for a bit.

When he took off his jacket, Y/N noticed fresh abrasions on his knuckles.

• Jimin...

He immediately hid his hands in his pockets.

• It's nothing. I got hurt during rehearsal.

The answer came too quickly. Y/N frowned, but said nothing. He looked very tired. They had dinner, and Jimin spent the entire evening smiling, joking, and pretending everything was fine.

Later they went to bed.

Late at night, Y/N woke up. The room was too quiet. There was no one in the bed next to her.

• Jimin?..

There was no response.

She left the bedroom, but the apartment was empty. Sleep was gone completely. Y/N sat down on the sofa and waited.

Almost an hour passed before the door quietly opened.

Jimin walked in, thinking she was asleep. He was wearing a different jacket, and underneath it, a white shirt with dark stains that looked like blood.

He calmly took off his jacket, folded his shirt, and went to the laundry basket. Only then did he notice Y/N.

She sat silently in the darkness and looked at him.

He smiled softly, as if nothing had happened.

It was as if this night had never happened.
