You met by chance, on a very ordinary day.

You stood by the window at the university, scrolling through your phone and quietly humming your favorite tune. You were an open, emotional girl: you laughed easily, sometimes got offended over trifles, but always loved sincerely. People felt calm around you.

He was tall, with dark hair and a serious gaze. He rarely smiled and kept his feelings to himself. He had once been a cheerful child, but his strict parents had taught him to hide his emotions and endure in silence.

At our first meeting, he, passing by, said:

• You sing out of tune.

You were indignant, but he suddenly smiled.

Gradually, he changed around you: he joked, brought you tea when you were sick, and was always supportive. But he never talked about his own feelings.

One day, you had a big fight. He said too much, and you expected an apology. But he didn't know how to apologize, and you broke up.

Late in the evening there was a knock on the door. He stood there with a bouquet of flowers and sweets.

On the balcony he was silent for a long time, and then for the first time he spoke about his childhood, about his strict parents and about why he was used to hiding everything inside.

His voice trembled and tears came to his eyes.

“I don’t know how to apologize... But if you leave forever, I’m afraid I’ll never learn to truly live again.”

He was a tall, thin man with slightly tousled black hair that fell carelessly over his forehead, partially obscuring his eyes. His face was pale, with soft, neat features: a thin nose, a sharp chin, and barely noticeable cheekbones.

His dark eyes were almost always narrowed, as if he were constantly smiling with just one glance. They conveyed calm, a slight weariness, and a certain mystery. A wide, slightly sly smile froze on his lips, revealing a small fang that gave him a mischievous and memorable appearance.

He wore a light, loose hoodie with a large hood, which made his look even cozier and slightly concealed his silhouette. The clothes were slightly baggy, as if comfort was paramount to him.

Despite his relaxed appearance, he exuded confidence. He gave the impression of a man who rarely showed his true emotions, but around those close to him, he became warm, caring, and sincere. His smile seemed infectious—so infectious that you couldn't help but smile back.
