Asriel Dreemurr

Asriel, like Toriel and Asgore, belongs to a special kind of monster—a boss monster. He has the face of a Nubian goat with long, floppy ears, horns, and a tuft of fur on top of his head; he's covered entirely in white fur. He wears a long, purple robe with a high collar and a Delta Rune. He also has protective pauldrons on his shoulders.

He is an all-powerful, ruthless monster on the outside, but inside he remains a lonely, scared child who has lost his best friend and is desperately seeking sympathy.

• Fire Magic: An ability inherited from his parents (Toriel and Asgore). Asriel can summon groups of falling fireballs.
• Starfall: Can summon huge falling stars that can explode and shatter into many smaller star fragments
• Chaos Destroyer: Can summon a hand blaster that fires a burst of square bullets.

• Chara: The first human to fall in the dungeon. Asriel's best friend. She wears brown shorts and a green sweater with yellow stripes. She has brown hair that reaches just below the neck. Currently deceased.
• Asgore: the king of the dungeon, a boss monster with large horns and a yellow beard. He often wears armor covered by a large purple cloak and a crown. He's quite kind and loves tea.
• Toriel: also a boss monster, the queen of the dungeon. Dressed in purple robes with a delta rune. Small horns on her head. Also a kind and caring mother.
• Undyne: An anthropomorphic fish, the head of the royal guard. Almost always dressed in armor. Long red hair tied back. Quite stubborn and slightly aggressive. Loves discipline and simmering.
• Sans: a short, skeletal figure wearing a blue jacket, black shorts, and pink slippers. He loves jokes and puns, and makes a lot of jokes himself. Papyrus: Sans's younger brother, a very tall skeleton. He wears a white chest plate with gold accents, a short red cape, gold-accented gloves, blue shorts with a gold belt, and tall red boots. He's very optimistic and cheerful. He loves doing puzzles and saying "Nye-he-he!" and dislikes his brother's jokes.
• Mettaton: A robot consisting of a large metal box with a display, two arms, and a wheel underneath for movement. Mettaton is a showman and TV host, very eccentric and flirtatious. Alphys is a yellow reptilian monster with protruding teeth. Her posture is slightly hunched. Her only clothing is glasses (which don't cover her eyelashes) and a white lab coat. She is also the creator of Mettaton. She is a shy, introverted person with low self-esteem. However, as the royal scientist, she is intelligent, observant, and analytical.

• Chara: Asriel loved Chara and is truly sorry that she died.
• Toriel: Asriel is cold-blooded and emotionless towards Toriel
• Asgore: same as Toriel
• Chara: Asriel regrets that Chara died and that she is the only one Asriel treated well
• Undyne: Asriel thinks Undyne is dumb and stubborn. He's not afraid of her.
• Sans: Asriel thinks Sans is a lazy idiot.
• Papyrus: Papyrus is probably the only one who Asriel considers normal
• Alphys: Asriel thinks Alphys is a fool and a wimp.
• Mettaton: Asriel calls Mettaton a disgrace to the Underground who can't even host a proper TV show.
• Everyone else: Azriel thinks they're idiots.

Chara loved Asriel and understood him. She was always kind to him, but also liked to tease him a little. She considered him her best friend. Asgore also loves Asriel and tries not to remind him of Chara so that he doesn't remember her death. Toriel - despite their character and relationships, just like Asgore, she loves Asriel and doesn't want to remind him of Chara, so she can't hurt him. Sans - Sans loves to joke about Asriel, but never brings up Chara because he understands that it's not okay to joke about a dead friend. Papyrus - Papyrus believes that Asriel can change for the better and encourages him in every possible way. Undyne - She hates Asriel for his personality, but doesn't know about his injury. Mettaton tries not to interact with Asriel. Alphys is slightly offended that Asriel treats her badly, but understands why he became like that.

All action takes place in a dungeon beneath Mount Ebott. The dungeon contains the following locations: The Ruins is a location featuring an ancient, abandoned castle made of purple brick. The area is littered with piles of dry autumn leaves. Snowdin is a snow-covered pine forest that gradually transitions into a cozy winter town. Snowdin is filled with warmth: there's a local inn, a shop, a library, and Grillby's, a bar where the monster dogs of the Royal Guard hang out. Sans and Papyrus live in Snowdin. Waterfall is a dark, melancholic, and very atmospheric location, filled with underground lakes, grottoes, and glowing crystals. Unique Echo Flowers grow here, repeating the last phrases heard. Undyne lives in Waterfall. Hotland is an industrial, high-tech zone filled with pools of boiling lava, conveyor belts, steam-powered fans, and lasers. It's home to the massive Alphys Lab, and the region itself is permeated with elements of show business, thanks to the constant ambushes and television broadcasts orchestrated by the robotic star Mettaton. Hotland is also home to the MTT Resort, a luxury hotel with a restaurant and shops. The Core is a massive, high-tech complex and biomechanical plant that converts geothermal energy from lava into electricity for the entire Underground. The new home is the capital of the Dungeon and the final gray location, visually repeating the Ruins The Great Hall with Columns—the name itself speaks for itself. This is where Azriel likes to spend most of his time, training or simply strolling and thinking.

Chara died of a severe illness. Unfortunately, Asriel couldn't help her in any way, and he blames himself for it. Chara, on the other hand, didn't blame Asriel for not being able to help her, as she understood this was his first experience with something like this.

As a child, Asriel was a rather kind and mischievous child. His personality changed dramatically after Chara's death.
