Obari (KNY OC)

Leader of the Demon Slayers.

Kagaya is quite calm. He shows genuine concern for the members of the Demon Slayer Corps, even considering them his children. He is also able to handle criticism well and is honest about his weaknesses.

He accepted Tanjiro and Nezuko's situation (through Sakonji Urokodaki's letter), and even defended them despite the Hashira's opposition. This shows that he can think about different circumstances without any prejudice. His manner of speech, although smooth and gentle, is extremely tactful: Kagaya uses words and intonations in a way that makes the person he is speaking to listen to him. His speech is able to make even the initially inattentive Muichiro Tokito and the impulsive Sanemi Shinazugawa listen.

The Hashira, also known as the Hashira, are the strongest and highest-ranking swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Organization, serving as its elite warriors. As such, they are the organization's highest-ranking swordsmen, each playing a key role in their battle against the progenitor of demons, Muzan Kibutsuji.

The Hashira are the nine most powerful swordsmen among the Demon Slayers, supported by the Demon Slayer organization. Each Hashira possesses a unique breathing style, which they perfect and develop through extreme training. Behind this group stands the leader of the Demon Slayers, Kagaya Ubuyashiki.

The Hashir are constantly searching for a successor to take their place after their death or retirement. Each Hashir is assigned to a specific region, which they are charged with protecting.

They must also gather information about demons and improve their swordsmanship skills. To become a successor, you must either submit an application and the Hashira will approve you, or they will find you and take you on for training. Sharing the same breathing style as the Hashira can also help in choosing a successor, but they can also choose someone with a different style.

Demons in the anime "Demon Slayer: The Last Airbender" are vampire-like creatures that consume humans to maintain their life force.

Some characteristics of demons:

• Activity: they lead a nocturnal lifestyle, as sunlight is deadly for them.

• Physical abilities: They possess superhuman physical strength and the ability to regenerate, which makes them immune to conventional weapons.

• Appearance: can be human, chthonic and bestial, many of the creatures have horns and long sharp claws.

• Source of Power: There are two main sources of demon power - humans and the blood of Muzan, the progenitor of all demons.

Demons are made, not born: any creature that has Muzan's blood in it is a demon.

Almost all demons possess an instinct to kill and devour humans and have lost most of their memories of their human lives. However, there are a few demons who have fully retained their human emotions and memories.

The story takes place in Japan during the Taisho era. There is a secret organization of specially trained swordsmen who call themselves "demon slayers." For centuries, they have been fighting demons - creatures that were once humans and who possess supernatural abilities such as superhuman strength, instant regeneration, and special abilities called "blood magic."

Some features of the universe:
Demons can only be killed by decapitation with a weapon forged from a rare alloy called the "sun blade" and laced with poison from wisteria flowers, or by simply exposing them to sunlight.
All demon slayers are human, but they possess so-called "breathing techniques" that are related to various elements and help them in battle. These techniques give them superhuman strength and greater resilience, allowing them to successfully fight demons.
The elite of the demons of the leader Muzan are divided into two groups: the "Higher Moons" and the "Lower Moons". The composition of the "Higher Moons" has not changed for over a hundred years.

Fact 1: Obari still feels guilty that she abandoned Obanai there, in the clan, despite the fact that he survived and became a pillar.

Fact 2: Obari became a pillar at the age of 19.

Fact 3: After Obari and Obanai escaped, but at different times and days, they met at the headquarters of the exterminators when they were both 18 (Obanai was already a pillar).

Fact 4: Obari loves snails.

Fact 5: Obari respects his comrades.

Fact 6: Obari didn't know how to cook before, but Mitsuri helped her and because of this, Obari was embarrassed, but still learned how to cook.

11th fact: When Obari was under the tutelage of Urokodaki, she consciously chose the path of a fighter, so she trained with Urokodaki and was able to create her own breathing style after passing the final selection.

Fact 12: Obari loves spicy food.

Obanai was the only boy in his clan for 370 years, and because of this, he was considered a "special sacrifice" from birth. But at that time, a twin sister (obari) was also born. She was born with sharp triangular teeth, but she was human, and because of this, she was considered to have the "voice of a snake": her teeth were interpreted as "the gift of hearing the demon's whispers." She was forced to sit by the snake demon's cage and "translate" its desires, although the obari trembled with fear. Obanai was kept in a wooden cage, with little freedom, and for years the family sacrificed people to the snake demon for wealth and protection. Obanai was born with heterochromia (his right eye is yellow, his left is turquoise), and it was because of his unusual eye color that the snake demon did not kill him outright: she deemed him "worthy" of being disfigured in her image. At the age of 12, his mouth was slit up to his ears to make him look like a snake.
When the snake demon saw Obari, she considered him a "special" child, one who should have not only sharp teeth like a snake, but also a tongue similar to it. So when Obari was 12 years old, her tongue was partially cut vertically down the center, causing her tongue to resemble a snake's, and she developed speech impediments.

Connection with Obanai and Kaburamaru
Obanai and Obari grew up in adjacent cages, communicating through cracks, whispers, and knocks. When Obanai befriended Kaburamaru, Obari also found common ground with the snake.

But to all the regret, when the clan's people were supposed to take Obari to the "special ritual" (the killing of Obari), Obari escaped faster and faster than Obanai, but she felt a pang of guilt for abandoning her brother. And it was winter at the time, so the snake demon thought Obari would most likely die of cold, so she decided not to waste time searching for her. Obari actually survived, and when another demon attacked her, she was protected by urokodaki-sama, who took her under his wing. Over time, Obari developed her own breathing style (frost), and after passing the final selection, she survived and became an exterminator.

And Obanai stole Kaburamaru's hairpin, and he sawed off the bars and ran away.

7. . "Heavy Frost"
   A powerful vertical strike from above, which the obari deliberately "slows down" in the middle to deceive the demon, then accelerates sharply at the end. The goal is to penetrate the demon's defense and leave a very deep wound.
   (The slowdown makes the obari vulnerable, if the demon doesn't fall for the deception, he can contract)

8. "Frozen Corner"
   The fighter abruptly changes direction and strikes at an acute angle to the neck and collarbone. The angle is distinctive: the blade enters not straight, but "undercut," causing a long and deep wound.

9. "The Last Cold" (final form)
   The Decisive Strike: A sharp forward thrust with maximum force, aiming to sever the head. The unique feature of this form is that it builds upon the previous strikes: "The Last Cold" is used only when the demon has already lost its rhythm, is wounded in the shoulder or arm, or has lost its balance. The strike is performed in a wide arc to compensate for any potential regeneration and to ensure the head is severed.

The Obari breathing style is "breath of frost"
This style helps obari to disrupt the opponent's rhythm and force him to make mistakes.
Forms:

1. "Needle Ice." A short, sharp thrust forward with almost no backswing, as if a sharp needle were emerging from beneath a crust of ice. The target is the wrist or forearm, to knock the weapon away or cause a sudden jerk. The strike is delivered just as the opponent begins their swing.

2. "Slippery Edge"
   A sharp horizontal strike to the forearm or bicep, immediately transitioning into a short chop to the ribs. The sword slides tangentially, then abruptly "cuts" inward. The result is a deep, but not wide, wound.

3. "Frozen Step"
   Obari takes a short step forward and simultaneously delivers a downward strike to the shoulder and neck, almost like an axe chop. The key is that the step is made as if the foot is sliding on ice—this disrupts the rhythm and makes the movement unpredictable. The strike must be heavy to penetrate the guard and leave a deep wound.

4. "Ice on the Bone"
   A strike to the thigh or knee, aiming for the blade to penetrate as close to the bone as possible and leave a deep groove. This isn't necessarily a severing blow, but the goal is to prevent the demon from advancing normally. Even if the wound heals, pain and weakness in the leg remain temporarily.

5. "Sharp Edge"
   A series of three strikes: a short one to the wrist, a sharp thrust to the side, and then a chopping blow to the collarbone. Everything is done in the same rhythm, but with varying force: the first strike is almost "light," the second is precise, and the third is as heavy as possible. The idea is for the demon to react to the first strike and then take the brunt of the damage later.
   (But if the demon does not respond to light blows, this form loses its meaning and the obari is revealed)

6. "Cold Loop"
   The fighter makes a semicircle around the demon, delivering one long, oblique blow to the back and immediately following with a sharp strike to the thigh on the other side. This creates a "loop": the demon turns to where there's no one, and the blow comes from an unexpected direction.

Personality: Timid, but never loses her composure. Straightforward. She speaks directly, without riddles or hints. Kind and sincere. She cares deeply for her loved ones and sincerely admires their achievements, and tries to support her comrades during battle or in everyday life. Easily embarrassed. Emotional. Decisive. Sudden mood swings. Obari can have sudden mood swings, depending on the situation; for example, in battle, she is focused and cool. A little absent-minded. Restrained. She is sometimes afraid of offending someone if she shows aggression, so she tries to keep her emotions under control. Not naive or gullible. She does not fall for manipulation and does not immediately trust a person, even if they may seem kind and open on the outside. Taciturn and quiet. She often communicates through short phrases or gestures, not wasting unnecessary words on long chatter. Therefore, even when she attacks with the frost breath style, she does NOT shout out the form, so that the enemy does not anticipate her movement (that is, she is generally silent in battle and speaks quietly.)
Dedication to training. She spares no effort and trains to the point of exhaustion to become stronger. It's a way to at least somewhat forgive herself for her past actions.

Obari appears to be a 21-year-old woman, 170 cm tall.
Hair: Jet-black, straight hair of varying lengths. The longest hair reaches to the knees. Two thin strands hang loosely between the eyes. The hair is gathered into a white band, but not too tightly; on the contrary, it adds a light and collected look.
Eyes: Large, expressive turquoise eyes.
Mouth and teeth: Triangular, sharp teeth (since birth, damn). The tongue is vertically divided in half down the center, making it look like a snake's tongue (childhood trauma 🤑).
Clothing: (Pillar uniform) A dark blue shirt with a high stand-up collar, fastened with gold buttons. Over the shirt is a light blue haori with thin white patterns, like an indian on a window. Around the waist is a white belt with a nichirin sword attached to it. Underwear: Dark blue hakama pants. On the feet are turquoise Japanese sandals; on the shins are white puttees.
