The Forest of Mist lived up to its name. Muichiro walked ahead, but suddenly felt two strong hands simultaneously grab him by the shoulders, stopping him.
“It’s dangerous to go any further,” Obanai snapped, stepping forward and shielding Tokito with his body . “Stay behind me and don’t stick your head out.”
Giyu stood behind him, pressing almost flush against Muichiro's back, enveloping him in his scent to obscure any other traces.
“We sense a demon,” Giyu whispered, placing his hand on the hilt of his sword, but continuing to hold Muichiro by the waist with his other hand. “Just listen to us, and everything will be fine.”
